My first experience there was OK but I did go back again today really disappointed first foremost half my breakfast came out and I had to get the waitress attention to tell her. I was missing something that I had ordered. She looked at the receipt and she agreed went back to the kitchen to get it by the time she got back my breakfast is cold. I could not find butter on the table and I had to wave her down and she came over and I asked her for butter. She came back and she bought three things of butter. They don’t keep butter on the table. I guess the silverware unfortunately is the cheapest you can buy in the four key. You can barely keep the food on it I forget that my food was cold. The sausage was overcooked and dry as a bone. The eggs are fine. The biscuit was fine. The gravy was ice cold and I had coffee and I told her black and she brought it and then we looked at the menu we ordered our breakfast, etc.. The girl never came back to top the coffee nor did she ask if I wanted more coffee and no one else came over and you had to constantly hail her and she was in the kitchen or she was somewhere they’re pleasant atmosphere was just clean and nothing of great nothing to mention. Food was cold. Service was terrible. I’m not going back. There wasn’t anything of the meal that I could think of that was good. I personally would not have left a tip. I probably would’ve left a nickel to let them know. I could’ve should’ve but didn’t. I think they would think twice if I was the owner I would try to figure out what they’re doing wrong. They’re only three tables that were being served and you had plenty of help but something is really not in place Around 10:30 today maybe 11 that we left but maybe we got there at 15 not a go for me I’m sure visit us to the city will go there but if I see that a lot of locals, this is the best place in town then that must work there or have relatives working there Like I said places about empty. It was a disappointment.

Stopped in for some awesome biscuits and gravy. Outstanding food, food service, even met the owner...I believe his name is Shannon, nice guy. Great place to eat in Hiawassee! Love it!
Nice, cozy, neighborhood restaurant. Treat you like family... The service is beyond excellent!!! And the desserts are " off the chain" 🤪👍❤️

I ordered chicken tenders and fries, and the total was $15. I questioned why I was charged for a plate and not offered my second side and told the menu was incorrect, changes were made, and they would make it up the next time I visited. Unfortunately, I won't be given them a second chance. The fries are good, and they give Veterans a free meal on Veterans day hence the score of three.
