Hiawassee, Georgia's live music destination...With scenic views of Lake Chatuge, open air bar, outdoor seating, fabulous bar food, and live music every weekend, the Sand Bar is the place to be, and be seen, in Hiawassee.
Anytime is a good time at Sand Bar & Grill but it’s especially good when SMAC is playing!!! Exactly what I’d expect from a small town venue in a place that’s well known for its very talented musicians. Great entertainment and cold drinks in a funky hometown atmosphere.
Good spot. Unique in that the front of bar has a huge area covered by a tent with a sandy atea. 5 or so cornhole games going akk at once. Another area with a fire pit, but was raining so could not do it. Reasonably priced drinks. Band was good also.
