There are very few Ole Times I have ate at and didn't enjoy it. The one in Hinesville is by far one of the best. Never seems to be to crowded when I go and the food and service is always on point.
Some of the food was good, some not so much. The fish, chicken livers, fried chicken, and green beans were good, hot, and fresh & seasoned well. The cabbage was saugy and overcooked, the smoked chicken was bland and cold. The salad bar was good and fresh. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. I appreciate the fact that they have a military discount.
It's always hit or miss here. If you go on the weekends or evenings, it's fine, but if you go mid day, you can only expect lunch leftovers with the food not being hot. The service is good. I've never had a bad experience here as far as customer service goes. They're pretty friendly folks. The prices have become steep over the years. For two people It's $40 give or take a few dollars on weekends and evenings. For that amount, one should expect the food...
