Visited El Rodeo restaurant while TDY in Fort Stewart and I will not lie, I expected the food to be a bit more authentic and flavorful, closer to what we have back in the Texas Southwest. I ordered the beef fajitas and although they were a but flavorful, they lacked the beef part. Now prices are very decent and appropriate and in their defense the menu is extensive. I will try other places here in Gainesville and experience other cuisines.
Really wanted to like this place. We’re new to the area and are trying the restaurants to see what’s good and what’s not- this is a not. Portions came in ramekin side dishes instead of on a plate together. Ran out of mexican rice and gave us plain white rice with corn in it. Food was just okay, but the prices and deals are there.
We really loved this place. I heard this was the place to go in Hinesville, but never had a reason to drive to that side since we stay on the other side... we decided to go for my husband's birthday... it was great food, they sang happy birthday, had a Sombrero and a special surprise for the birthday boy too! It was a great time, great food, and great atmosphere!! Awesome
