Do not order to go. Total waste of my money. The coleslaw was spoiled, cabbage was limp, smelled nasty and I threw it away. The fried okra was cold, limp and old, guessing it was made yesterday and left over. The cornbread was burned, old, dry and hard. Couldn’t even bite through it. Was like leather. I ordered a catfish dinner and was pleasantly surprised to see two large filets of crispy catfish that were hot to the touch so freshly made, and the ONLY thing on the plate that was fresh. However, I couldn’t eat it because the breading was nearly solid salt. And did not add the tartar sauce as requested. Not one thing on the entire plate was edible. They’ve seen the last of my money. I really used to enjoy their food but it has gone downhill quickly.

Food is terrible I ordered wings and a fish sandwich, was given one small piece of fish between two slices of bread which cost me over $6.The chicken was not throughly cooked so the inside was red and pink. I really wasted my money.
My husband called in an order for me to pickup on my way home. I got there about 30mim after he ordered and was informed they just put our ticket in. She went ahead and totaled up my order and told me it would be $XX plus a $1,000 tip. I laughed, and then she proceeded to go on for a few minutes about how she was serious and needed $1,000. At this point I give her cash in the exact amount of the order. When my fo$1od is finally done she bags it up and goes to hand it to me, but then pulls it back and says "did you pay for this"...my reply was "you know I did" and then she hands it to me again, pulling it back, and says "but you didn't give me my $1,000 tip." I told her I didn't have time to play, I need to get home. She then gave me the food and thankfully I checked it, because the burger had no bacon and the fried chicken dinner was just chicken...no sides or cornbread. I tell her what I need and she says she will ask them to make it. Then they send a new plate with the sides, but no bacon or cornbread. She gets the cornbread but then tells me they're out of bacon. I paid $1.10 for bacon and I asked for my money back. She then says well the cheese and bacon are the same price and I forgot to charge you for the cheese. At this point I roll my eyes and got to leave and she proceeds to GET BETWEEN ME AND THE DOOR and says no, don't leave, let me fix it. I told her to get out of my way, I had already spent enough time in there. So then I get home and we start eating, and my husband gets a few bites into his chicken and it was pouring blood. All three pieces (thighs) were not cooked all of the way through. So he had to throw his away and go out to get something to eat somewhere else. If you care about your health and sanity, pick somewhere else to eat!!

Started off good but lately I always here we Out of or Not today. Take stuff off the MENU that u can not keep Stocked!! Monica ATTITUDE is NOT the GREATEST nor friendliest. Little boy always hanging out in the front of the restaurant but very polite. I assume one of the employees child. The dining room could be more tidy and tables sometime sticky. When customers being seated make sure the table is clean and wiped off. Food that usually is served is decent but lately it has missed the mark.If Ms Cindy is not there do not put anyone in the kitchen too cook and serve over cook FOOD!! Sunday, 10/29/23 all plates we ordered was HORRIBLE.

The food was not great had to drown the fried chicken in hot sauce because of no seasoning. Collard greens taste like they were from a can, Mac n cheese was cold. Resturant Floor was super sticky the whole place looked dirty from traffic I guess and the resturant had an old mop water odor . Kid at register was more concerned about talking about Highschool escapades rather than putting a fork and napkin in my bag and cleaning up. I wish it was better as there’s no soul food out that way. But I’m not going again.

The Mac was tasteless one side was cold the other side was boiling hot.Corn on the Cobb was hot no taste but edible.Catfish was rubbish like for real. Whole waste of plate I can’t even try to eat. I had 4 people taste and still it’s a full plate.
