Place is gross, the hours of operation are wrong, you get there and door is locked, and no they’re not open until 2 am Friday and sat like they say for door dash. Food is not good.

The food truly is “from the heart to the soul”. The chicken breast was a pulley cut, fried crispy, golden and tasted just like it should. Turnip greens appeared from fresh greens, seasoned perfectly and cooked to just right tenderness so cornbread crumbled deliciously in the juices. Mac and cheese, homemade like all the other dishes, crusty on top, creamy through and through and sweet potatoes, sweetened with a light hand were just right. Food that feeds the soul as well as the body. Deeply satisfying. Different menu daily, chef’s choice. Can’t wait to go again and discover what treats I might find. Very casual. No pretense. Just great food.

Worst food ever which I should have known when I noticed how dirty the place was, sticky tables to the point I couldn’t sit down. But based on some reviews I wanted to give it a try. No flavor at all and dry. That corn bread and mac n cheese….. how can you mess that up man. Extremely disappointing. Threw it in the trash. Never again.

Tell the same to your other reviewers that have only 2 reviews. Learn how to cook and clean your establishment cause it’s absolutely disgusting Before you judge. I’ve been wanting to try this place forever specifically the Philly and MANNNNN it was the best I’ve had!!! I’m picky abt my sandwich’s and they did their thing on the grill. It’s also very welcoming and they even gave my son some free water ice which just shows you they actually care abt their customers. This is my new spot for sure!!

AMAZING! Tried it on a whim, and oh my god its amazing. We've eaten here twice and want to make this one of our usual spots. I've gotten the burger twice and the seasoning is divine. My husband has gotten the chicken and the Philly and it was so much food and also amazing.

This place is so delicious. The service was top tier, the food was amazing like it hit you with the home cooked by grandma back in the day. The vibe is amazing. It wasn’t crowded when we got there. The food is made to order. So we had Cajun catfish and 3 whole wing chicken. They allow you to sample the sides : cornbread, Mac and cheese, potato salad, and collard greens. The tea we had was a strawberry dragonfruit and farmer punch. We will definitely be back. It’s black owned and affordable pricing.

This was an unexpected trip to Hiram and I stopped in at this restaurant! The owner was so friendly, down to earth and welcoming! The food was spot on, I enjoyed every bite! The macaroni was made from scratch and you could tell! Ohhh and the Tractor juice was clutch!! This restaurant is a must!!
The greens, macaroni, potato’s and salmon patties were amazing! Also ordered wings and quesadillas that were fresh made to order and delicious!!!! Highly recommend!

Me and my son came here 15 minutes before closing. Food was still hot and delicious. I hate to lay down as stuffed as I am. I'm sad I ate my entire piece of lemon cake. Yall will see me tomorrow for some more. The best lemon cake I've had and I can't tell my Momma lol. Everything on my plate was good. Definitely gained a customer.
