Nice customer service. The to-go server was very kind and patient with me. I ordered tom yum soup for 4 through Uber eats. I received a pint. There was also a possible green paint chip in my food. The manager advised the to-go server to tell me to post it as a Google review. Paint chip or vegetation?

We visited Bangkok Cabin on Father’s Day with our family. The restaurant had a bit of an unusual aroma when we first walked in, and with it being Father’s Day, every other restaurant was packed, so we decided to stay.

I’m so grateful that we did.

Our waitress, Maddie, was truly exceptional. Before we even ordered, my son, who is on the autism spectrum and is mostly nonverbal, became overwhelmed and had an episode. Dining out is incredibly difficult for our family because loud vocalizations and sensory overload often make restaurant visits stressful for everyone involved. Because of that, we rarely eat out.

Maddie never made us feel like we were a burden. She was patient, calm, and incredibly kind. She took the time to connect with my son instead of rushing him. When she described the Pad Thai as “oodles of noodles,” something clicked for him. He smiled, understood exactly what she meant, and happily ordered it—and even ate it.

As a special needs mom, moments like that are priceless.

What many people don’t see is the daily struggle some families face just getting their child to eat or simply making it through a meal in public. For the first time in three years, we were able to enjoy dinner without feeling like we had to apologize for existing. I’m tearing up as I write this because that simple act of kindness meant more than I can ever express.

The food was good—not the best Thai food I’ve ever had, but it absolutely hit the spot. What will bring us back, though, is the incredible service and compassion we experienced.

Maddie, thank you. Your patience, kindness, and willingness to meet my son where he was made all the difference. You gave our family something we haven’t had in a very long time: a peaceful meal together.

I hope the owners know what an incredible employee they have. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be recommending Bangkok Cabin to others because kindness like yours deserves to be recognized.

I ordered the chicken Pad Thai everything was saucy but absolutely NOOOO flavor! I’m upset first off because the pictures look amazing so I couldn’t turn away, which I should’ve taken the smell of the inside of the restaurant as a warning. Then as I proceeded to order my food I was under the impression that I was ordering the combo because that’s what I was looking and reading from while ordering and wasn’t told “the special ends at 5” unaware because it was my first time so I paid $17.07 for a small bowl of wet noodle, bland chicken, and 2 handfuls of crushed peanuts. Definitely a 1 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The staff was so rude and unwelcoming that I left without ordering. I’ve never encountered a group of employees who seemed so unhappy to be there. A little courtesy goes a long way, and unfortunately, this place had none. Very disappointing. The whole place was empty and I can totally see why.

They tell you their specials aren’t available after 5 pm despite you still being able to order them online. Also it was supposed to include a fountain drink, and they say coke, but just gave me a can of “summit cola” from Aldi’s.

Very nice and friendly people! The service was quick and the meal was impeccable. The server was insightful about the food and gave advice about spice levels. 10/10 would recommend

This was a Togo order

- Ordered masaman curry and almost stroked out from the amount of SALT in it. One bite and face was flushed from the sodium, no heat at all either. Wasn't even semi sweet. Was supposed to come with avacado but got none. The cashews were toasted black, which I've never seen. I'd give less stars but the food did arrive hot (freshly cooked) and the egg fried rice was mediocre, and somewhat greasy like they cooked it with vegetable oil, no duck sauce or soy sauce. The saltiness was a salt salty.

Service: The food arrived tipped over and jumbled in a bag. Grease loosely coating all the containers.

Atmosphere: Unsure, but from all above mentioned issues and the fact 1 small can of coca cola was $4.00, I doubt I will ever return and I will avidly speak against eating here again.

Excuse me while I go swallow some blood thinners and guzzle a few gallons of water

Worst curry I've ever had. The steamed rice was hard. The red curry had very little flavor besides salt and was watery as hell. The pang curry tasted exactly like the red curry and was also watery.

Bangkok Thai is a hidden gem tucked away near San Lucas next to Wingstop, but what truly made our visit special was our server, Maddie. She was absolutely amazing—warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu. I have a food allergy, and Maddie took the time to thoroughly explain ingredients and potential allergens with complete confidence, which made me feel safe and genuinely cared for.

Her friendliness and professionalism elevated the entire experience, and it’s rare to find a server who combines such kindness with such strong knowledge. We started with the spring rolls, which were delicious—fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. Thanks to Maddie, our visit was stress-free, enjoyable, and memorable. We will definitely be back!

Update-We returned a few days ago and learned that Maddie is no longer working there. While the food was still good, the friendly and sweet energy we experienced before just wasn’t there this time. It definitely felt different.

Stopped by Thai Cabin recently and had a great experience, largely thanks to the cashier, Maddie. From the moment I walked in, she was genuinely warm, patient, and welcoming — the kind of person who makes you feel like a valued customer, not just another order.

I had a small issue with my order, and Maddie handled it effortlessly. She listened, stayed calm, and immediately problem-solved without any attitude or frustration. Honestly, it was refreshing to see someone so sweet, attentive, and capable under pressure.

Customer service like that makes a huge difference. Maddie’s kindness and professionalism alone would make me come back, and paired with the great food, Thai Cabin is definitely a spot I’ll continue to support. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Massaman Curry and it was such a disappointment. Watery, very poor amount of chicken, the cashews were too soft ( maybe it was overheated?), and the flavor was not of the regular Massaman Curry.
