My fries had a hard like substance in them. They were also cold. Attached is the thing we found in the fries. My husbands shrimp came out cold the first time the second time it looked like it was prepared on a dirty grill. My father in laws fried shrimp was cold. 2 meals got sent back. The manager came out trying to defend the restaurant, she was very rude. Didn’t even ask us what the problems we had were. Didn’t apologize for the bad food experience we had, very upsetting. The waitress was great, but everything else went wrong. Wouldn’t recommend, place won’t last long with that type of management.

Great place, atmosphere was good. Locals seem to also really enjoy this place. bartenders were quick, attentive and friendly . Food was hot and served quickly. Good portion sizes reasonably priced.

I have it a 4 because my wife and I were split. She absolutely loved the mussels in a white wine sauce with fettuccine. I had the Balboa and 5 wings. Mine were both just ok. Our server Matt did a good job.

This place is expensive but for a tourist spot I guess it is normal. I ordered the wedge salad and it was just a bunch of lettuce. I only had a few bits of bacon and a sprinkle of a few pieces of blue cheese. The waitress took our drink order and then disappeared for 15 mins and got a couple of drinks wrong. Then she waited on another table that came in after us and took their food order. We had to call her over and reminded her that she had yet to take our food order. The rest of the food was good because my granddaughters are picky eaters and they ate most of their food.

Went with a large group of retired Army NCOs to Daddy’s. Service was outstanding (don’t remember waitresses name but she was great). Even more awesome was that someone picked up the tab for all of us. Don’t know who it was but we expressed our gratitude through our waitress. Food was great also. Would recommend to all.

We went to Bigg Daddy’s twice during our visit to Helen, Ga the kick off weekend to Octoberfest. They have great burgers and some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. The wait staff was attentive and super friendly. Big shout out to Kristin who stopped by our table to answer a question we had. She’s super nice and obviously a gr8 manager and asset to the business. The covered deck is huge and we enjoyed a lunch and dinner on the deck. We will definitely be back.

We visit Helen 2-3 times a year. We usually eat at least one meal here. We enjoy the deck area. The service is usually good as well as the food. Our burgers were not cooked as preferred. They were both very well done and dry. Restaurant is within walking distance to most hotels.

This is a popular local restaurant, however, it seems like the service has slipped recently and it’s not what it used to be. Tonight I ordered the fish and chips which is a menu favorite. It looked amazing. However, the fish did not appear to be cod, it had a wet and mushy texture and didn’t appear to be fully cooked and lacked flavor. I suspect it to be either a Chinese or Vietnamese fish such as Swai. I would not order it again. This is one of the first times I’ve not finished my meal.

It was a busy Saturday night, but we were able to sit at the bar right away (first come first serve). Service was great and food was delicious!!
