We have eaten at Maebobs for 30 years at least! Always a good meal and even better atmosphere! If you are in Irwinton,GA, you gotta eat here! Its the best!

Hash browns were the same from Arby's; sunny side eggs were not fully cooked (the whites were still very runny). Country ham was so salty that I couldn't even finish it. Biscuit didn't taste like they were homemade. Server kept asking us if everything was alright, and I finally told her the truth. She said, "That's always how we've done it"; she didn't apologize nor take my criticism well. She kept making comments on how I didn't finish my food. As an ex-waitress, I was apalled by the lack of customer service. Will not come back ever.

Such a unique place. Great choices for lunch but make sure you get there early or something may run out. I had my favorite of fried livers. Yummy!! But there are so many other choices and real good Southern cooking. Reasonable prices and plenty of parking. They have a dedicated door to go in for take out orders.
