After a recent funeral, we stopped by because we had been there a few years ago and it was really good. Upon entering, there was a weird smell (like soured bleach rags), and the floors were sticky. The food was average at best. The service was okay, but not the best. Going to the restaurant again would be a pass for me.
I've frequent this location and it's never disappointed. I live within 5 miles of the Athens location but gladly make the drive to Jefferson for the service, food and atmosphere! The manager Mary takes care of her customers and truly makes you feel welcomed!
I had the pleasure of being served by Kerstin B, and I can't say enough good things! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome with her warm smile and friendly attitude. She knew the menu inside out and gave fantastic recommendations.
