Friendly staff, solid menu, delicious coffee, and easily the coolest historical location of any coffeehouse I've ever been to!

Came here to see family and evacuate from Hurricane Milton for a week (Saint Pete, FL). We are going to miss this place. Been there a few times this week already. Had the Augusta Blt, gyro salad, ham, egg and cheese croissant and sugar free hazelnut iced latte. Everything was perfection, price was reasonable and very friendly service. Thanks for making us feel at home away from home!

This is such a cool cafe. I love coming here for breakfast and coffee in the mornings when I'm in town. The girls that work there try really hard, and do an excellent job. The food is so good, and for the price point it seems crazy that it's that good. We always feel welcomed when we come here and the syrup selection for the coffee is unhinged. Love this place and hope it continues to be successful ❤️

I stopped by Cream and Shuga and ordered the Club Sandwich—wow, it was absolutely awesome! Fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and a generous portion. The service was top-notch; the staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect too, cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee. Highly recommend this place! I’ll definitely be back!

Well, I've been a huge fan of Cream & Shuga for many years. It's still not bad, but twice recently I've gone in and had less than desirable experiences. Once, the staff was too busy chatting and playing to get my coffee prepared, so much so that I had to say something to them to get my coffee (off-put with no apology). Since this is a coffee shop, people are on their way to work or typically have time constraints, so this service is not considerate of their customers. Today, I went in, and the staff as a whole was nowhere near as pleasant as they used to be, and one part of my order came out first, then the second part came out late...and COLD. When I asked them to provide warm food, it still came out barely warmed (eggs cold, cheese not melted). I've always been a fan of this place, but it may be that the new ownership doesn't have the same customer service and quality standards as the former owner. Hopefully, this improves, but I am not sure I am going back anytime soon. There's other options in Jefferson now such as the Bistro. Hopefully, they'll improve. We have loved this place for a long time. Disappointed.

This is a really fantastic place to get your coffee, breakfast, bagel whatever you want.

They also make some really fantastic sandwiches. Good for breakfast or lunch. I really like ham, egg and cheese on a croissant, they also have a sandwich called the Maverick, which is chicken and candy bacon amongst other ingredients.

The staff is awesome, the place has a nice relaxed vibe, even when it's busy they get you in and out of there pretty quickly. It is such a friendly atmosphere where everybody is just treated like family.

First timer and was pleased. The food was delicious! My wife and I both had a protein bowl and they were really good! My wife had a coffee and I had sweet tea. They have huge muffins, which are not freshly made there, but very good. (Costco muffins??) My only issue was we got our protein bowls first, not realizing the drinks were not brought to us. They even warmed the muffin for me! Over all a nice place for breakfast!

Had the blueberry muffin and the coffee of the day. Pretty good. I'm usually disappointed by blueberry muffins, this one was pretty good. I don't quite remember the coffee of the day, caramel something. But the flavor of the coffee was not overly present, like synthetic, it was good cup of coffee.

Very nice coffee shop and restaurant. Interesting half of building is old jail.
Cells have been turned into sitting rooms. Vegan lunch option is a hummus and veg sandwich on sourdough. They have cow milk alternatives for an extra $1.
