Diesel Donuts and Coffee

I wasn’t completely impressed with this place. The coffee was great—I had a Turtle iced latte and really enjoyed it. We also tried the chocolate chip waffle, Fruity Pebbles donut, and a Diesel Bagel. My 7-year-old wasn’t a fan of the waffle, and the bagel was just okay. It had the kind of bacon you’d expect from Dunkin’ (IYKYK), which was disappointing since I was expecting real, fresh bacon.

That said, the shop itself does have a nice charm when you walk inside, and I appreciated that they offer outdoor dining. I usually love little hole-in-the-wall coffee shops and breakfast cafés because of their warm, personable vibe, but unfortunately, that’s not what I experienced here.

A good place to visit. Last time we were up this way was a Sunday and they were closed but this time we dropped in and got some donuts and coffee. Pleasant experience, good coffee and good donuts. Recommend the red velvet donut, their Elvis donut needed bacon.

Fast, friendly service. Good coffee, very well made chai tea latte. We arrived after 10am, so the donut selection was a bit limited. We tried the following; 2 red velvet, the Elvis, maple and glazed. Our selection also included a lemon donut, but we were too full to try it right away.

Let me say that Diesel Donuts are as close to perfection as possible. The cake donut base recipe is not too sweet, has a lovely crumb and just enough tooth to let you know you are eating a quality donut. Far superior to other donuts in the area! My only want would have been bacon for the Elvis to balance the sweetness of the peanut butter.

Diesel Donuts is definitely on my 'go again' list - it even makes 'trip just for donuts...who cares that it's a 40 minute drive' list!

The lady told me to get could make over 50 doughnuts! Key lime pie, s'mores, strawberry, salted caramel. Yummmm . They also have bagels with different types of cream cheese or you can get it as a sandwich. They have a select few other sweet and savory pastries as well that are delicious. There is a good variety of drinks and flavors. I always get their iced chocolate late with toffee nut. But you can get it hot or cold, smoothies, and fruit lemonades. There is seating inside and outside but it is only a few tables. Parking is a little difficult just because there are other businesses and if you haven't been there you might turn down the wrong way and have to go around. They are open 6-3 Monday-friday. 630-230 on Saturday. Closed on sunday. All in all though I say go. Any time I'm in the area I stop.

Snuck out the get my wife donuts to have with coffee once she got her birthday. Diesel Donuts wasn’t open at 07:10 on a Saturday morning . Store hours are list as 06:30am -2:00 showing a lack of customer care

We LOVE Diesel Donuts — especially the Jefferson location! The service is always great, and you can tell the owner has poured so much love into this place. Saturdays have the best variety of their many cake donuts and pastries! The apple fritter is the best we’ve had, and the breakfast bagels are a must. Great coffee drinks too, even for a non-Jittery Joe’s fan like me! Cozy inside and plenty of outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

Maple Bacon Donuts are the best

Great service, in and out in just a few mins. Coffee was awesome and the donuts were 10X better than Dunkin.

Enjoyed breakfast here as were passing through. I ordered the Cajun egg sandwich & my husband ordered the Diesel sandwich. Both were delicious! My husband also enjoyed a Frappuccino. The young ladies working there were so sweet & welcoming!
