Amazing! We were told about this place by our hotel and had to stop in. Unfortunately, they are apparently closing in 2 weeks as the owners are retiring. We got here around 7ish and were told the wait was about 25 minutes for a table for the two of us, which we didn’t think was bad at all. The wait ended up being about 10 minutes or so. We started off with the fried okra basket appetizer which was great! They smash the okra pods then fry them instead of the typical okra bites, which was definitely different. We then split the stuffed flounder with sides of the squash casserole and sweet potato soufflé. Everything was piping hot and absolutely filled with flavor! We were so stuffed we ended up not being able to finish the soufflé and saved this for another night. The food was definitely yummy and I do hope someone else buys out the restaurant so we can come here again one day.

5 Stars, Very tasty, excellent Quality ingredients, which give the delicious flavors. First time here and it was great. Stuffed collard Greens and stuffed flounder were fantastic. Drinks, appetizers, and side were also tasty.

This is posted knowing that it will be closing soon, but I noticed I had never posted a review.
It's outstanding and unequaled on Jekyll. It's just solid, and well done.
Thanks for being part of our life for many years.

I ordered the roast beef on mashed....meh, potatoes reminded me of boxed potatoes, and gravy tasted like jarred gravy. Hubby had pork loin on mashed potatoes and squash casserole, said the casserole was good, and pork loin was ok. Our server was apparently also the bartender, so to get any service was kinda tough since so many were at the bar, we also had the sampler platter cuz the bartender said it was excellent, but nope, it was bland like my roast beef.

I can't leave a review on the food or the service bc I went in 30 minutes prior to close and they told me the kitchen was closed. Jekyll Island is beautiful but everything closes way too early.
YUM! best restaurant in the island. Especially if you like seafood!

This place is amazing!!! While on vacation ate here twice, and for the cheeseburger both times. My husband, in laws for the platters, and they thought it was delicious!!! Their Cole slaw is awesome too!!!! My son loved his shrimp and fries kids meal! We were actually told by our waitress, they were shutting down I believe next month due to the owner retiring, I advise to stop by beforehand! She also mentioned another restaurant was coming there too!

I wanted to like this place, and based on the reviews we decided to have our last dinner on Jekyll here. Atmosphere was nice enough, service was okay but not great. But the food was just awful. It didn't seem like there was anything "wrong" with our meals, just that they serve extremely mediocre food. One of my children got fish fingers which were fishy and low quality. My other child got the shrimp meal and received 5 teeny tiny overcooked shrimp on his plate. Fries for both were passable but lukewarm. Likewise, my meal was not hot enough. I got the stuffed flounder and it was super bland, the sweet potato casserole was covered in way too much brown sugar, and even after scraping off that layer was still sickeningly sweet with a grainy consistency. The fried okra was okay but again not hot enough which made it unappetizing. My husband had the creole shrimp meal which again, had some small unremarkable shrimp and a bland tomato sauce that tasted like it came from a package.

Food was good - ordered the stuffed flounder with okra and fried green tomatoes which was all delicious - but our waitress was rude to us which brought down the experience.

Took 45 minutes to get a seat another hour and 1/2 to get the food. If your hungry go somewhere else unless you want to wait 3 hours to eat. Disappointed ?
