Pool bar is awesome! Check when open in off season. Olivia was great this fall! Made the time pass with fun bar life. Wish it was open more than Fri-Sun in late Oct & maybe close at 6, but we continued to go each year for the last 17 years in late Oct! Love the memories. Food good too!
Great Girl's Weekend again during the Shrimp and Grits Festival. We stayed at Soucy which is a perfect location for the festival's entertainment (I hate telling my secret since we couldn't get it this year). The festival is amazing: the tasting tent could implement some improvements to get the rules out (like maybe hand out the rules when you hand out the tickets). We recommend that you bring umbrellas or something to cover yourself from the sun if you go and hang out at the shrimp and grit tasting area (there isn't much shade). We decided to chill out at The Pool House in the shade where we had attentive service and ended up splitting some burgers (they are always delish). COREY made creative drinks, LEVI is a hard worker (real asset) and KENSLEY was a hoot to take pictures for us. We love MIKE HOPPEY and look forward to seeing him this November on our anniversary.

We stayed at the Jekyll Island Club for a week and went to the pool house almost every day. The bartender, Olivia was excellent. Service like this makes us want to come back again and again. I highly recommend!
Always come here but may not again. The new pool cabanas are great but the food service has taken a dive. I was the only lunch customer and had to ask several times for a beer and was handed a can and no glass. Very crass. The very dry cheeseburger had no cheese. Condiments were nowhere to be seen. When I mentioned I ordered a cheeseburger, the barkeep walked off with no apology and came back in a few minutes with a slice of fake American cheese on a paper plate. I was shocked. So much for what used to be an upscale place.
There’s only one thing that makes a resort experience exceptional and that’s the service. And that was certainly the case with Olivia at the Pool House. Olivia greeted us everyday with a smile and “how can I help?” Her outstanding professionalism, amazing attitude and attention to detail was beyond exceptional. But her smile and friendliness is what made our experience one of a kind. Thanks Olivia and can’t wait to see you next year!
The pool bar was understaffed. The waitresses were forgetful and never brought refills or things requested. We waited way too long for food and drinks, even to get the check. The food quality has been better in the past. What we were served was not worth the price.
I’m giving two stars because the price versus quality doesn’t make it average at 3 stars. The “nachos” were a little bit of queso drizzled over some waffle style chips. There was way less cheese than expected for what they called nachos. The fried okra was average and the fries were average. The chicken tenders are actually worthy of 4 stars but the overall rating just can’t even be average based on what we got. Obviously it’s part of the resort so elevated prices are expected but this was not even close to what we expected.
Love this great little spot. It’s a place to cool down on a hot day with unique food options and drinks that satisfy. We appreciated the hospitality of the staff and would highly recommend you stop by The Pool House. Ashley B went above and beyond.

Pool very nice. Clean and well maintained. Lots of towels and chairs. The bartenders need more training.. Drinks were awful. Snack left something to be desired.
Great time at the bar. Corey the bartender told some great dad jokes and mixed great cocktails! Had a burger for lunch the next day. Great service by the pool for ordering food and drinks.
We were biking on Jekyll and stopped at the Pool House Bar for a beer and the best soft pretzel. Our server Corey Seawell was outstanding. Highly recommend the bar and the staff
Quite the dreamy experience when at the pool house. Corey was a critical part of the ambiance and the quarterback of our white glove customer service.
Awesome experience. Corey was professional, friendly, and charismatic. Handled a big group with ease. Would definitely recommend Pool House for a dip and a sip.
