Ordered salad. Ordered filets medium. Received no salad and filets barely touched the grill. Waitress didn’t check on us until it was too late to send back. Horrible service. My mistake. Not filets. Medallions. We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard.

We stayed two days at Courtyard by Marriott and ate at the Shore a few times. Great service at both the restaurant and at the Starbucks in the lobby. They were personable and very accommodating. Order anything with the shrimp and salmon and you can't go wrong! The black bean burger and chicken salad croissants were very good as well.

Our Hampton Inn didn't have a restaurant, so looking for a place to eat on New Years Day was a challenge. We opted for the Shore Restaurant at the Marriott right up the street. My wife had the beet/peach salad, which came out with canned peaches and beets, which made it just average. My Smashburger was decent bar food, and my salad option was huge. No complaints there. The complaints center on our Fried Brussels Sprouts appetizer. They looked fantastic in the basket but clearly undercooked in the center. Even a fork provided a challenge to cut these things in half. We hardly ate any of it.Our server never checked on us during our meal, so when she came to clear off our plates, we brought the issue with the Brussels Sprouts to her attention, and she apologized. But sure enough, the $13 was still on our check.Still filled with holiday cheer, I didn't make a scene. I left a marginal tip and departed knowing we will never consider the Marriott as a hotel or dining option on Jekyll.

The service wasn't great and they got the order wrong. Also was out of something I was going to order and took an hour to finally eat. The chicken sandwich was good though and so was the beverage.

Management is young and inexperienced. We are retired and well traveled. We decided to eat in the restaurant at the Courtyard Marriott and experienced a cold meal that was overpriced. The young manager spontaneously came to our table to ask about our meal. We voiced our concerns and were told, "Well, you ate the meal". Really? We were staying at the hotel so they had a captive audience. We were tired from traveling and wanted a nice meal before retiring to our rooms. The meal service was horrible, and we waited 25 mins to get our drink order. I went to the bar to ask where our drinks were and was told by rhe blondebartender that since we were not sitting at the bar she couldn't serve us, we had to get them through our server. I thought the front desk would be interested in our restaurant experience. WRONG! The young man at the desk smiled while listening to my experience and said that's too bad. He said "You already spoke to the manager". This hotel is pricey to eat and stay for second-rate service. Traveler BEWARE!!

No stars are deserved at this restaurant. Our server did not have a clue about what their hanger steak meal was. She also could not tell us anything about some of the drinks that we were curious about on their menu. We waited quite a while for our drinks to be served despite the fact, the people that had arrived at the bar after our drink, order were served immediately. When our food arrived, we did not get the sides that were advertised on the menu and had to ask our server for them. The meals were lukewarm at best. The manager came over and asked us how we were doing and we when we expressed our dissatisfaction with the entire experience, he decided to comp us 20% which was a joke. He did this after pointing out that we had eaten most of the food anyway, unbelievable! It was the end of the day on New Year's Eve, and we really were looking forward to relaxing with a couple of drinks and having a light meal. Unfortunately, this was a terrible end toour day.

We were staying at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel and we ended up eating lunch at the Shore restaurant twice and quite honestly, they were the two best meals of our trip. The first day, I had the chicken salad sandwich and the side salad with the lemon vinaigrette dressing. It was so good I almost got the exact same thing again the second day. The chicken salad had an amazing flavor and the salad was fresh and a perfect compliment to the chicken salad sandwich. My friend had the buffalo chicken wrap with a fruit salad, which she also said was pretty perfect. The second day I opted for a veggie pizza and the house salad with the lemon vinaigrette dressing, again. The pizza was big and we ended up taking half of it home when we left. My friend had the shrimp po boy and fruit salad and enjoyed it as well. The server was friendly and helpful (I really wish I could remember her name because she really was fantastic). We enjoyed being able to eat outside in the sunshine next to the pool. The drinks were delicious and the food was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Understaffed! Top chef was fired 4 days ago and our waitress admitted her brother is now the chef and it's a bit hectic here. Well after getting drinks and kids meals and waiting for 1 hour, we left. No dinner... place like this should not be open. GO

Where do I start...ok management, take notice. You have a gem in your server team. Her name is Kishon. We had been vacationing for about a week, and we had tried the restaurant and found the atmosphere to be relaxing. We dined 4 times. The first time, we had the smashburgers and they were excellent, we had a different waitress, she was ok, not terribly friendly did her job and that was it. The food was very good. The next time we dined we were graced with Kishon. She was so pleasant, kind , accommodating, and most of all genuine. She was slammed....still she managed to get it all done and with a smile and a positive attitude! One day we were very pressed for time, and she was very thoughtful and made every effort to get us in and out! She had recognized us the next time we had come in, and that in itself is highly unusual! Greeted us like friends. I watched as she worked her tail off! She had worked a double that day, and still had energy and was so nice. The food is pretty good. Having been a manager myself, let me tell you, you want all your employees to be like Kishon!Thank you for making our stay relaxing and, we do hope to see you again!

Probably the best in-house dining I've had at a Marriot. The staff was attentive and nice, the food was cooked fairly quick, and the food tasted great. The prices are not bad and I will definitely bring my family here again in the future. We had the steak quesadilla, the chicken salad sandwich, and lots of chicken tenders for the kids. There were no leftovers.

Kendall was our server. She was absolutely amazing!! There was a mixup with my dinner, and she made it right with a fantastic suggestion. She was very engaging and made us feel welcome. She is a class act. Very kind, professional, and engaged. Best server! Hands down!! Sang praises to her manager. We have been coming here for a long time and she is top notch for sure!!! Thank you Kendall!!

I was a guest tonight at the hotel and decent to dine on site. Big mistake! The service was excellent from Marquell and the atmosphere was fantastic but the food overall was bland and had no flavor at all. I feel cheated from what could had been an excellent meal. The portions were great and the temperature of my steak was to my liking, just lacked flavor. This made a disappointing experience for myself and my husband.

The shrimp and grits is not worth the price, nor is the pasta bowl. If you eat here, stick to the burgers, fried fish, and things like that. Drinks are okay. I was hoping for better quality coming from a Marriott.
