Great food! Robs staff provides excellent service & the food is great. Thanks Rob! 🙂
If you are visiting Jekyll island you MUST visit Tribuzio's Grille!! Food was perfect, Service was fast and our waitress was super friendly! Can't wait to come back!
We were very impressed! Greeted, Seated immediately (no wait), waitress was nice, food came out in not much time, all was very good. Highly recommend.
While vacationing on Jekyll Island recently, we found the few waterfront restaurants with waits of 45 minutes almost every evening of our stay. As an option, we enjoyed both lunch and dinner at Tribuzio's on Capt, Wylie Rd. The food was most excellent (I highly recommend the mac and cheese side dish and any shrimp entree) and the menu prices were quite fair. While you don't have the benefit of an ocean view, the restaurant was clean, the service friendly, and the menu items were both varied and reasonably priced. The restaurant is housed in the clubhouse of one of the golf course (we don't golf), so I think it's easily overlooked. Last year, we were on Jekyll when Hurricane Ian passed near the island, and they were one of the few restaurants that stayed open (I give them extra props for that.) They have daily specials, a fresh catch of the day selection, and cocktail specials as well. Good place to dine!
Me encanto los carritos de golf y la comida muy rica
I live on the island and the owner of this facility also owns the sunrise grill. For some reason the sunrise grill always has top shelf service and quality food whereas trapezios is hit or miss and mostly miss. They go through a lot of help in the kitchen and seldom. Does anything ever come out the way you ordered it. I want again this morning and for someone who always leaves a 30% plus tip, I walked away giving no tip. Not only was a food substandard but the service was horrible.
Great spot on the edge of the Jekyll Golf course. Wonderful food, great service & fun environment.
Ordered take out for 1 person. Food order was incorrect and vegetables are utterly tasteless. On top of this, they charge a 20% fee for take out orders - ridiculous. Wish I could say it was because they are busy, but that wasn't the case. You know what they say, fool me once... won't be a second time!
No question, one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. It took over 1 hour and 55 minutes to get our food, one at our table literally had to get up and get his own water glass filled, one drink was never refilled even though we had asked for it, one fish dinner was raw in the middle, one steak sandwich had postage stamp pieces of meat, an order of chips and guacamole took over 30 minutes to arrive at our table, the tuna steak was overcooked and the saxophone player was right out of a junior high school band. The menu prices were way out of line for the quality of food and service received. Above all though, the attitude of the waitress and the cashier was horrendous and not so much as an apology was given. NEVER, EVER again would be patronize the place of "business". If you are going to play golf on Jekyll Island, bring your own lunch.
This restaurant had the best food that I have had in a long time. We had oysters Robefeller, fried shrimp, fried oysters, and one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. There was a wait, but the food made it worth the time. As with all restaurants it is hard to get in a hurry, so please realize it is worth a short wait. This is wonderful food not fast food. ? We ate at the bar and actually made some new friends! Rob, the owner, gave me three super suggestions and all three were winners. The Shrimp were super fresh, the oysters were cooked perfectly, and the Crab cake melted in your mouth! When you are on Jekyll Island (or within driving distance) you need to swing by the golf course and experience the best Seafood I have had. I did not have the steak, but some of my new friends said they are also great.

We tried the Tuesday special, a 10 Oz burger that came with lettuce and tomato and you could add other items like bacon, grilled ones etc for $1. Came with fries for $7.77 when you ordered any drink ( soda or alcohol). Great value. Our server Misty was delightful, friendly and very efficient! We would return again. In spite of being at a golf club, good food!
Best place for lunch or dinner on the island. We had the fresh catch both times with one being grouper and the other triple tail which I had never had before. Both were delicious. Don't think we would go any place else for dinner. Try the Key Lime pie, the best on the island. Check their website, they have specials each night such as two entries for $20 with two sides burger nights, etc. Best deal on the island. IT"S A MUST-GO AND EAT. Good side portions. Also, a great place to play golf.
It was difficult finding nice restaurants on the island with massive staff shortages everywhere. This was recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. We were able to get a seat right away and the food and beverages were served quickly.
We dined here actually twice over Labor Day Weekend, once for dinner and then we went back for Breakfast. My husband got the special "Low Boil" which was amazing and then went back to try breakfast, OMG they give you a lot. We were there on Saturday Night when they had live music which we enjoyed very much. But the main reason we give this place 5 Stars is the Excellent Service we received from MISTY. During our entire 10 day trip split between Jekyll Island and Savannah, MISTY was by far the best server we had, even better then The Pink House in Savannah. Highly recommend Tribuzio's for the great food, entertainment and service that is beyond even your 4 and 5 start restaurants.
First, as I write this post, Jekyll Island seems to be struggling to accommodate the resurgence of tourists. After a futile attempt to eat at a spot in the Village area, we got in the car and drove over to the golf course with the intent to eat at Tribuzios, as the menu and prices look very good for the area. Upon arrival, we saw quite a few people waiting. No one from the restaurant staff greeted us, so hubby went up to the counter and asked how long we would have to wait, and was told somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour. After seeing that there were 3 empty tables, hubby asked how long for a to go order, and was told 20 minutes. Opting for that seemed better, but to go orders are placed at the bar, which was full, and there was a line. Some of the people in line wanted to get drinks and others wanted food. Two of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen were handling the bar, both seated customers and preparing drinks for those at tables, as well as taking the to go orders. In one way, this was great, because while standing right next to the kitchen door (which was also where the bar staff was taking orders) we got to see some tasty looking food going out. And during the 20 minutes it took to place our to go order, there was plenty of time to size up the choices. After ordering, it took the predicted 20 minutes for the food to come out. As we left, roughly an hour after arriving, there were fewer people waiting to be seated, but there were still some empty tables. The food was okay, once we got back to the hotel, but I was torn between feeling sorry for the bartenders and annoyed at the poorly designed to go service. Good food should be enough to keep this spot going, but travelers might want to know that this restaurant is a bit off the beaten track. Also, the management should designate a staff member to handle to go orders, allowing the bar staff to do their jobs.
