My daughter and I are foodies and love trying new things. We decided to try this place after seeing it on Google with all of its great reviews. It did not disappoint!! The Chef greeted us immediately when we entered and offered us free tastings of the lemonades that he makes… the guava lemonade was delicious!! We ordered the oxtail over rice (rice of the day was red beans and rice) with Mac and cheese and plantains. (We shared these) Oh My! The best oxtails I’ve ever had! They were fall off the bone tender but not fatty like previous experiences with oxtail. Mmm My daughter order the Coconut Garlic Honey Butter Shrimp and Salmon with fried okra and the cabbage with shredded carrots. She cleaned her plate and was so impressed with the sauce, as was I. I ordered the Sunset sauced whole red snapper with fried okra and red beans and rice. It was AMAZING ? The food was the best I have eaten in a long time! Then he brought us a sample of their spectacular banana pudding… it was so delicious, but we were so full!! The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and we will definitely be back!! I can’t wait to take the rest of my family!! 2 thumbs up and 5 stars ⭐️ This is a must try!!

We hadn't been here before and liked it from the moment we walked in. We sat down and listened to Bob Marley in the back ground while deciding what we would like. Out from the back of the house comes the Chef a very pleasing gentleman with a bright smile and an attitude. Chef answered our questions then proceeded to make our food. When our food came out it looked and smelled delicious, I do not remember what we ordered, coconut cream chicken dish. Very welcoming, even has game day on Saturdays - cards, board games great place for family dinner or date night.

Made a pit stop here on a long drive from Savanah to New Orleans so we had definitely built an appetite. I scooped an outdoor table since we had our dog with us while my boyfriend went inside to scope out the menu. Shortly after the owner and chef walked out to greet me and gave me a sample of his homemade juices and I had to order a cup of the guava passion lemonade so tasty! We ordered the coconut curry shrimp with mac & cheese and cabbage and the jerk chicken with rice and plantains. The coconut curry shrimp was amazing super flavorful and came in an almost buttery sauce which I keep dripping over the rice! The sides were also really tasty. I didn't love the jerk chicken only because it was a bit dry but in the Chef's defense, he did not claim that was one of his award-winning dishes. Would stop by again for the warm service and delicious food!
