The Strand Bistro & Chophouse

Highly recommend visiting this restaurant/bar in old town Jesup. Old red brick interior that gave it an antique look but modern amenities. Our food and service was amazing. Wish I could remember the waitress name who attended to our group of 12. She was awesome. If ever in the area again I'll definitely be stopping by.

Melba is amazing! She always makes sure we are very well taken care of. Makes sure our order is always correct, etc. she has the best personality as well.

My right knee was aching when we first got to the place, but once we sat down, the experience made me forget about it. I had the salmon and it was excellent. Our drinks were spot-on, thanks to Brooke Ellington. Gabby handled our starters she’s in training and doing an outstanding job. Kim, the training waitress, was training her and you can tell she’s in good hands.

This was our first visit, and we’ll definitely be back. It’s worth the drive from Hinesville.

Cocktails were on point. Brooke should definitely go to other establishments and train their bar staff.
Kim and her trainee Gabby were beyond helpful and friendly. Crack Chicken is a must try. Just saw that Wednesday night is karaoke night so I will definitely be back. Perfect spot for date night any day of the week. Great atmosphere.

Ordered my steak midrare, got a very blue sirloin that I couldn't even think of eating. Sent it back along with my sides, all untouched. Took twenty minutes to get my old fashioned and it was just barely acceptable.

Melba our waitress delightful. Hubby's burger cooked exactly how he ordered. His fries nice and crunchy. My chicken salad very good and generous portion. Planning on coming back when we return home .plus the atmosphere is great.

The food was good and the service was fine but what I really appreciated was the actual place to change my child in the bathroom! That’s a whole different type of hospitality and care

So tonight didn’t go as we’d planned for our dinner. Me and my Husband go to the strand pretty regularly we enjoy the food and the waitresses we typically try to get Cheyanne. There is a new worker who kept coming to our table and snapping at our waitress (Cheyanne) and it really just ruined the whole mood for our dinner. She acted and look very unprofessional and treated our waitress like trash. I love my regular bistro people but this new employee is not it.
