-- the food is just average... but the price is quite expensive! I've eaten here a few times -- it's not one of my favorites..... it's usually because someone else in the house wants something from here and it's not that far from our home.

We are fond of the Bistro but haven't been in a while. Calzone was good. My Alfredo with chicken and broccoli was bland at best. Cheesecake was delicious! What ruined our meal was the wait staff sweeping around our table while we ate! When I eat at the HH this is expected as they aren't trained differently (I guess) but when you're paying SO MUCH to eat, I would expect better.

We went today and it was awesome! My steak was seasoned perfectly not too salty! It was slightly undercooked for me, our waitress Kaitlyn noticed and wanted to send it back for me so bad but I was ok with it. It wasn't too loud and the appetizer, food and even dessert was great! We will be back!

First let me say our server Katlyn (sorry if spelled wrong) was great. The meal started out with them bringing a Blue Moon beer without a glass or orange. The server did go get a glass but it was room temp. Next we ordered 2 apps and after receiving one of the two appetizers we were informed they were out of the spinach and artichoke dip chips so we did not receive that . Next, I ordered the salmon with broccoli and the fried corn and my wife ordered the bruschetta pizza. The other couple that was with us ordered their food and the waitress walked away. She returned a few minutes later to inform us that they were out of the bruschetta pizza and they were out of the fried corn also. We made our substitutions with ordering a different pizza and I had them put a loaded baked potato onto my salmon order. Then I was informed that they are out of baked potatoes, so I substituted mashed potatoes.After a reasonable amount of time, my food, and the other gentleman, food arrived, and my plate did not have any broccoli on it. I waited on the waitress to come back, and it showed her that I was missing my broccoli. My wife and the other gentleman‘s wife still have not received their entrées. The waitress return shortly with my broccoli me, and the other gentleman proceeded to eat our entire meal before my wife’s pizza arrived. At that point, she proceeds to start eating her meal, and the other lady has still not received her entrée. Finally, after my wife shared her pizza with the other lady at the table and they were done eating her entrée finally arrived and we had them remove it from the bill because we had already eaten by then.At this point, I proceeded to pay the bill after they had taken all of the missing food off processed my credit card paid with a cash tip, and while we were finishing our beverages, the waitress came back up and said that the credit card transaction was backed out of and not processed. I proceeded to pull out my phone and open up my banking app and show her where my credit card had already been processed and the transaction was pending on my account . She proceeded to try to apologize for that miscommunication.As we were getting ready to walk out, the bar manager came up and tried to apologize for them being out of the spinach and artichoke dip, and we told them, it was not about the food being out. It was about the ability to bring out the entrées all at one time, and nobody being able to eat together.

Once again I'm disappointed in the Strand Bistro. This is the second time service has been lousy and we come often. The last time we were here we never saw a waitress after drinks were ordered. Finally just left! Never got silverware or napkins tonight until done with Bruschetta and it's messy. Food finally came. Pizza was very doughy and not cooked well at all. My sandwich was definitely a disappointment. I think they're catering to the band crowd instead of the eating crowd. One more chance and you're out!
We went there a second time because the first time was great.Same thing the second time, still great. Again I got the calzone. Everyone in our party seemed to enjoy this restaurant. If you haven't tried it I recommend that you do.

Went with a reservation for a large party and they sat us at multiple tables after assuring they can sit up to 40 people. We had 24 people. We definitely wanted to sit together to socialize!Then the food was terrible. I ordered salmon and the salmon was so over seasoned and salty I couldn't finish it, served w broccoli and rice and that had no seasoning. Not a speck of salt of pepper. Really a sliver or garlic butter would have turned that around. Multiple people ordered the salmon and they were all served the same. Our server was new and we definitely liked her but she explained that she just started Thursday with no training. It showed. Management should have done better with staffing and seating our reservation or should been honest about it from the beginning.Even after all that, I will still go back as a table of 2 and try the pizza which looked good and enjoy the atmosphere near the bar with a drink.

AWESOME!!! The food is good and the service is good. Attached right to The Strand Theater which is also AWESOME!!! You can opt to eat during the movie if you choose. Highly recommend both.Parking: Can park right at the entrance if you get there early for the movie.
