Food is overpriced. 2 regular hot dogs fries and drinks was a little over $20. When i could have ordered a foot long with fries and a drink for the same price but they didnt have them. One staff member was friendly the rest of the staff acted like it was a bither we chose there to eat. Don't really care if I go back. I can take or leave it.

Vanns BBQ has went above and beyond for us. When NO where else was open through Hurricane Helene James and the team made sure we were fed the entire time, even when they themselves didn't have power. Vanns BBQ always supporting trade workers as well as the community! Thank you for your support and food that never disappoints!

No prices on the menu so good luck on how much your food is. I got the sampler dark meat which was ok but the pulled pork serving was severely small, and the ribs aren't even smoked. If they are I don't know how their doing it because there isn't even a smoke ring on the meat. The ribs tasted like they've been sitting in the fridge for 3 days. The ribs were tender but the flavor was less desired. Pulled pork had no seasoning. The chicken skin was like rubber to the point I couldn't even eat it. The service was good and the employee were very nice. I probably won't be back

I hate leaving reviews like this, but I always write with full transparency and honesty.....
I gave the food rating 2 stars because my husband enjoyed the all you can eat seafood buffet with crab legs.
I ordered a BBQ sampler and chicken fingers for my kids. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and had to ask about it. The chipped pork was ice cold when my food finally came out. I asked them if they typically serve it cold and they said no and took it. I'm assuming they microwaved it for 3 minutes because when they brought it back out it was scalding hot. My 2 ribs were rubbery and did not seem fresh. They felt and tasted like they were reheated multiple times. One of our chicken tenders came out ripped in half and looking like someone took a bite out of it. The server waited until we had 5 empty drinks before asking if we wanted refills. There were only two or three other parties dining indoors when we were there and they all recieved frequent service.
10 minutes into picking through my food and I feel like I'm going to puke.
We tried it once and that's it. My husband might come back for the seafood because the BBQ was no good.

Like everywhere, food is overpriced, but that's just goes with the inflation. Regardless, the chicken was great. Fell off the bone as promised. Only had the smoked chicken, not the BBQ... but the meats and sides were great.
Also the staff was friendly and welcoming. Be sure to check out their buffet.
In a small town like ours, this place truly stands out as one of the best spots to eat. The food is fantastic, with generous portion sizes and an even a better staff. I had the pleasure of meeting Michael, who helped my wife and me choose what to order, and we've been coming back every Tuesday ever since. I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich!

I've only had the smoked chicken the few times we've eaten there... it's not seasoned enough for my liking, but it's good.. the staff are great, and so is the atmosphere.. nice that they serve beer too!
