This place has the most delicious coffee around and very polite staff. There are loyalty cards. I recommend trying the Alchemist latte

Upd 05/21: I found this place about a year and a half ago, and the coffee used to be amazing - like 10 out of 10. But over the past six months, there's been a constant stream of new staff, and the coffee's gone way downhill. Burnt taste, badly frothed cappuccinos... Today was the last straw. I'm honestly so disappointed.

While there are some more unusual or rare finds here, such as Dahlonega coffee, the execution of their coffee creations is very mid. You’ll also find higher quality coffee, espresso, and execution elsewhere.

As much as I would like to give this place 5 star due to the taste of their coffee, their service and menu would not allow me to do it. I started supporting this local coffee shop a few months ago. They are right across from Starbucks and they have a better tasting coffee. I always ordered special espresso based coffee so far. Today I found out that I can’t get a brewed coffee in a bigger cup. I asked what was the biggest size of cup they had. She pulled a 12oz cup and said it was this. I asked her to pour it to that cup but she refused like she would get fired if she did that. She said she could only pour their house coffee to a 10oz cup. I had to get another specialized espresso based coffee to get that 12oz cup like it was a reward. Whoever owns this place, needs to train their employees for customer service. And get bigger cups for brewed coffee.

Really great coffees and teas. Staff are knowledgeable and kind. They have an extensive menu that offers new/different options and I have enjoyed every beverage I have tried.

If you haven't been this coffee shop, you should visit there. Very unique atmosphere, high quality coffee and drinks by their own recipes and high standard. You won't regret.

A bit disappointing.
I was excited to try Alchemist Trading, but my experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The snack selection was limited, and many of the items shown on their online menu were actually unavailable. I tried to cancel my order less than two minutes after placing it—before I saw any signs of it being prepared—but was told it was already in the system and couldn’t be canceled. That felt a bit strange and inflexible. Overall, not the smoothest experience.

I genuinely look forward to coming here every single day, and it has become a core part of my daily routine. From the moment I walk through the door, I’m greeted by the friendliest faces and the most welcoming atmosphere. First and foremost, the matcha – oh my goodness – it’s simply perfection. Smooth, rich, and just the right balance of earthy and sweet. I’ve had matcha from countless cafés, but nothing compares to the way Alchemist Trading Co. But what truly makes this place special is the incredible team. The baristas here are more than just talented – they’re genuine, kind, and full of positive energy, making every visit a highlight of my day. Andres is an absolute gem. He always has a smile on his face and somehow manages to brighten my day with his hilarious jokes and easygoing personality. No matter how stressful my day is, a quick chat with Andres makes everything feel lighter. His kindness and warmth are truly unmatched. Lindsay is another superstar. She’s super funny and incredibly sweet. She brings such a joyful and relaxed energy to the café, and it’s impossible not to feel happier after interacting with her. Whether she’s expertly crafting drinks or cracking a joke, she makes every visit feel special. Lainey is absolutely wonderful as well. She’s so kind and attentive, always making sure everything is perfect. Her genuine friendliness makes the café feel like a second home. You can tell she truly cares about creating a welcoming space for everyone. On top of the amazing drinks and outstanding staff, the vibe of Alchemist Trading Co. is unbeatable. The music they play is always on point, creating the perfect backdrop for catching up with friends, getting some work done, or simply unwinding with a drink in hand. The whole atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot to chill out or recharge. Honestly, I can’t imagine my days without Alchemist Trading Co. It’s not just a café – it’s a place filled with good energy, kindness, and genuine connections. Huge thanks to Andres, Lindsay, Lainey, and the whole crew for making every visit feel like a mini celebration. I’ll be back tomorrow… and the next day… and the day after that.
