Beautiful ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food — what more could you ask for?

We came as a large group of 15+ people and were warmly welcomed and seated by the staff. We started with appetizers like Chicken 999, Chicken Kabab, Shrimp Fry, Pomfret Tandoor, Crispy Pepper Corn, Cauliflower Manchurian, Chicken 65 Biryani, Chicken Dumplings Biryani, and a few more items.

Everything tasted really good. The Chicken 65 Biryani was just okay — the rice was a bit too dry — but the Dum Biryani was excellent. Pompret could have been better with more flavor but its ok, not bad. All other dishes were delicious.

It has a nice ambiance with Hindi music playing in the speakers above, at a perfect volume, the key being it wasnt too loud! I got pav bhaji, which was delicious! It truly did taste like the one I used to have in India from the lari! The paneer chilli gravy was also equally delicious! The food portions were decent, and filling. The glass water bottle thats left on all the tables is filled with warm water, there are also cutlery and a large roll of paper towel.“

When we asked for to go boxes our server thought out what we had left and selected perfect containers for everything. We enjoy hot food, we got the hot level of spice and it was perfect. “I recently visited Block Buster Bar and Restaurant, and I have to say, my experience was quite surprising in a good way. When I first walked in, the place was empty, which made me a bit hesitant about ordering food. However, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did.

I started with the chicken bandi style pakodi as an appetizer, which was flavorful and had a great texture. For the main course, I tried the Andhra chicken curry with tandoori roti. The curry was rich and spicy, just like you'd find in India, and the roti was perfectly cooked. To finish off my meal, I had the bread halwa for dessert, which was a delightful and sweet end to an already satisfying meal.

Overall, all the dishes I tried were delicious and brought back memories of India. I'm really glad I decided to visit Block Buster Bar and Restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise, and I left feeling very satisfied.“
