Really great little Italian place hidden in Alpharetta. When we discovered this place it sure didn't disappoint. Wow, great apps, amazing variety of wines, the pasta it self is so good, lasagna is huge and hearty, mostly any entree can be shared or taken home to finish for later. we have not had any deserts here but they look good. Service here is prompt and quick and friendly, food doesnt take too long to get to the table. I give 5 stars because of the taste and variety of food on the menu :) oh and the outside lite up patio is so romantic, makes you feel out of this world

It was wonderful and the homemade pasta had the perfect sauce to go along with it, i only tried my grandmothers pasta though, I got a “make your own pizza†When I first got it it came it as a flatbread and all the ingredients I ordered, once when I ‘decorated' my pizza the lovely waitress took it away to be cooked, it was fast, as soon as I got a look at it, it was cut and cooked through! I ate most of the pizza as I had eaten most of my grandmothers pasta. I would give this place 6 stars if I could!

Came by tonight for my birthday dinner. After 15 minutes, we were greeted by our server and ordered drinks and an appetizer. After 30 more minutes, we still had not received the complimentary bread or our appetizer. My husband went to the bar to pay for our wines, so that we could leave. The server stated that we had just caught them on a busy night. With the restaurant half full at most, I'd hate to see them at full capacity. We had even called prior to our visit to inquire about how busy they were and see if we needed a reservation. We were told it would be no problem. Management should really think about scheduling more staff and setting expectations accordingly.

Some highs and lows. First the lows. Service was a 6 out of 10. Enough said. Italian restaurant should have a decent wine selection. They have the wine gorilla next door! Wine is a solid 1 out of 10. Minimal selection and 4x normal retail. Bring your own and pay the $20 corking fee. Food...9.5 out of 10. App: Artichokes . Yum! Seasoned and cooked perfectly. Right amount of lemon and pecorino. Meatballs. Yum! Plenty of egg, they were moist, warm and delicious. I had rigatoni with vodka and sausage. Again..Yum! Big portion, great taste. Grilled sausage on top. Wife had chicken pecatta which was equally great. Worth a trip back.

Liked this place more the last time we visited in July. One entree had too much of a red pepper flavor. Short rib manicotti was good.

worst service ever !! food and drinks took forever .. check took even longer and they brought us the wrong check . never coming back.
I would have given them a 5 rating but the service was slow. They were short handed with two very new waiters and the main server Victoria was forced to act as the bartender that was out as well as wait tables. Victoria did a great job considering the situation and she deserves a raise. Food was fantastic!

Food was not bad except it was lukewarm at best. Garlic bread cold, appetizer cheese not melted and sauce "warm" and hubby's meal had a cold spot in it.

My husband arranged a surprise 50th birthday dinner and party at Mari's and it couldn't have been any nicer! My closest friends had a fabulous time, loved the food, the wine, the room and the staff. Thanks to everyone at Mari's for an unforgettable 50th kickoff!

We went to Mari's Cucina for my birthday celebration. I am glad I made a reservation because Friday night is quite busy there. We were warmly received and had excellent service. The food was delicious! The desserts were beautiful and very tasty. We look forward to the next time we dine there.
