Yikes is the main sentiment that comes to mind. The one star is for service only since I can’t review the food. 45 minutes after sitting down, we still had nothing but ice water. The one waiter working was also apparently the bartender. I asked if the margaritas were made fresh and he pointed to the room-temp dispensers on the bar and said “yeah I made these this morning”. I asked for a beer instead. 20 minutes later when the beer still hadn’t come and I saw him fishing something else out of someone else’s drink before serving it, we decided to leave. Truly one of the strangest restaurant experiences of my life. They are clearly struggling with service. We went to the pizza place next door. Quick and delicious.

Food Was Cold! The Corn Was Cold & So Was The Tacos! I Returned The Corn Without Trying Tacos Requested A Refund Since I Had To Leave For Work 3 Mins Later I Was Bought Back My Bitten Corn Hot & With More Sauce. The Sauce Smelled Rancid. I’ve Called 5 Mins After Leaving And 5 More Times Busy ?

I have come here a few times in the past year and each time the food has been top notch! I’m absolutely addicted to their “gringo” queso dip, super soft and melts right away it is definitely a highlight compared to other places. The quesadillas were pretty fulfilling and also appreciated the vegetarian option, my friend tried the vegan mango quinoa salad and loved it!
Service has been hit on miss at times but last visit the manager was there (or owner not sure) and I was impressed with the overall quality. Will be coming back soon!

For nearly a decade Mavs was a great experience while under the original owners. Under new management nothing about the restaurant appearance has changed, the food is late, the service is terrible compared to the nice handpicked kids that were on the original team. Shame. End of a nice restaurant. Have visited over ten times since the management change and it's been very sad to see.

The tacos were OK, the fish taco was extremely dry. The margaritas were terrible extremely sour. The servers did not know how to do their job. Definitely not returning to this establishment.

I have been to Maverick's before and it used to be very good. Good food and presentation, however my recent experience was not so good, we were sitting outside and could see that the windows and doors were not clean. Food was disappointing , to say the least and couldn't even finish the food. This place definitely needs to improve!!!

Servers arent the friendliest, chairs are uncomfortable and my server brought me the wrong drink. The food is slightly overpriced and a little bland but the portion sizes are impressive

Their fresh salsa was awesome. Ordered shrimp Fresca salad and surprisingly I finished it all. Will definitely recommend to others and will visit again

Instead of worrying about if a delivery driver wants to sit down, why don’t the employees worry about bagging up the food. Like seriously the bartender stopped bagging up the food I’m waiting on to come and tell me to sit down. And then when asked when order would be ready he gave attitude and said idk and walked away. Only 2 tables of guests and no noise coming from kitchen. Pretty Ute food is ready and just sitting back there.

I think there’s a reason we were the only people in here around dinner time on a Saturday. Have you ever been in a bar that felt sticky and unclean? That’s the vibe we got from this place. Food was served on rusty trays with no plates, paper or sanitation. Also, the food was questionable, very bland and have had better quality at some fast-food type places. Didn’t end up eating everything because I didn’t want to get sick. Server was a young girl who was nice but very awkward. Took forever to get the check or any service because the staff was hanging out on their phones behind the bar the whole time.

I love the food. Absolutely amazing. Definitely get the hamburger tacos or the fried chicken tacos!! Really anything is good on their menus. If your into dessert check out their churros!! ???When it comes to the atmosphere it’s beach and surf themed. However since their chairs are metal they are kinda uncomfortable. But other than that, it’s pretty.Their service is sometimes slow and forgets your their till you finally wave someone down. But they are all nice and hospitable.
