We were in the area and hadn't visited this restaurant before, but knowing Mellow Mushroom wouldn't disappoint, we decided to check it out. The restaurant was very clean and bright. As we walked in, Ida greeted us and told us to pick our spot. Ida was quick to take our order and so pleasant to talk to...in fact I noted two kitchen staff bring out to go orders while we were there, and both, Amanda and unfortunately I didn't hear anyone call out the young man's name, but both of them provided exemplary customer service. I don't say that often, I'm a retired service level manager, so that word is exactly appropriate. They even opened the box and asked their customer if it looked good to them and thanked them for visiting. Now the food, we ordered the house special, of course it was excellent, and they didn't skimp on the toppings, the bruschetta was delicious. In fact, we ate it and some pizza slices before I even thought about taking pictures to share. It's roughly a 35-minute drive from my home, but we'll be back soon. My wife wants to go this weekend so our son can treat her ;) Thanks, Mellow Mushroom guys and gals!Parking: Tons of parking, it's located in a pretty large sized shopping plaza

I only ordered garlic cheese bread from here. It was really good.
My family and I have been coming to this location for about a year and we enjoy it. The staff is friendly and customer service is great. But this past Friday we ordered a large carry-out Chicken Buffalo pizza with the Blue Cheese swirl, and when we got it home to eat ( we’re about 10-12 mins from location with traffic) we noticed the chicken and bacon pieces were much chunkier than usual and the cheese (towards the center) was not completely melted all the way.After taking a few bites, we definitely could tell something was off. We had upset stomachs the rest of the night and the next day. Luckily Peto Bismol helped and it wasn’t something more serious.Since this was a 1-off instance I’m guessing the Friday night rush was the cause, but I would suggest no matter how busy the night the ingredients should be prepared as usual, and I hope cook times are not shortened to push out the orders faster. We don’t mind the wait time especially if we going to receive quality pizza.
