We have been coming for over 20 years. Excellent pizza…light and crispy crust. Full bar. The other meals are also excellent but we mainly get salad and pizza.

My understanding is that this long-time family owned business was sold to new owners a year ago. Getting takeout was a surreal experience. Let me start by saying the food was very good, like before, albiet a bit expensive. But the service. The staff was very nice, but it seemed like it was their first night running a resaurant. Every tabe, every one, had every face looking angrily toward the kitchen. One guy raised his hand like he was in school. A mom and son who walked in with me and waited 5 mins to be seated walked out unserved 30 minutes later.Half the restaurant was empty with only two people at bar (briefly). Used to be packed on a Friday night. Chairs and tables, and a piano, pushed randomly against wall by bar.I'd say call your order in, but I called 5 times over 45 minutes. Phone rang 4 times then dead air.If you go, bring lots of patience.

THE PIZZA SUCKED!! I read a lot of reviews that were mostly negative but considered the fact that this establishment has been up and running for about 19 years. Taking that into consideration, I took a chance. The server was very kind and friendly. The decor and ambience of the establishment was very nice and inviting. I ordered a large pizza to go. THE PIZZA SUCKED!!! It was a flavorless disc that tasted like cardboard and discount cheese. This is absolutely amongst the worst take out pizzas I've ever had. Lastly, I must say "THE PIZZA SUCKED!!!

Great food, wonderful service! Not sure why the negative comments. This is a little taste of Italy! Family owned and you feel like part of their family..

We've lived in the area for almost 40 years. The last time we came here was probably 15 years ago. Food and service were meh so we never came b ack given all the options in our area. We tried it again the other night figuring if it stayed in business for so long it must be worth another shot. We were so wrong. Food and service were meh. TERRIBLE, difficult to eat garlic rolls(?). Blew my mind that the bartender was not able to make a moscow mule. Three ingredients, vodka, ginger beer, and lime. But nooooooo can do. We won't be back for at least another 30 years.

After ordering takeout pizza a few times (which we've always liked), we finally decided to eat at the restaurant and try some regular dishes.I have to agree with a lot of the reviews that say the portions might be a bit small and the prices might be a bit high (and the quality a touch mediocre). On the other hand, our expectations for restaurants in this area skew toward "low," so, although that's a weak standard, we can't say we were entirely disappointed. If we had one legitimate gripe, though, it's with the salad options that come with the entree: I've been to a lot of independent Italian restaurants, and I've always been able to sub the salad for soup (usually a meatball "wedding" soup or "pasta fazool"). Not here...all they offered was more bread, which, honestly, wasn't that great. As far as others complaints about the decor and service, well, we didn't have any issues there. The decor is dark, dated, etc...and exactly what I like at an Italian restaurant! The service is like most these days: Ya gotta be patient and be cool because they are clearly understaffed and doing the best they can.
