Palomilla's Grill House

Never would have even thought I could get authentic Cuban in a Atlanta suburb. Pulled into the parking lot with the intention of going to another restaurant but had to try this place out. Started off with a passion fruit Moscow mule that was delicious. Had the beef empanadas. The meat was seasoned very well and the empanada was crunchy. Not soggy at all. Contrary to what Yelp claims... this location was NOT open when we arrived at 6:30pm today, Sunday the 9th. I've enjoyed Palomilla's on Sundays in the past and hope it's not closed permanently.

I got back to Atlanta following a trip to Miami where I had some amazing cuban food, so I was hesitant on one so far from a large cuban community, but I was wrong. This place was great and near work. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast. The pan con lechon "pork sandwich" was amazing. The pork is so full of flavor and the toasted bread is perfect. The rice and beans were also very good.
