First visit was for a quick dinner and had a great meal. To start I tried their Brussels sprouts, which ain't my grandmama's Brussels sprouts, and they were fantastic. I ordered the spicy Garnett vegan ramen and it was also great. Definitely will visit again with the rest of the family.

I love Rakkan Ramen but it hurts my heart to say it will not be the same anymore.. I came here the other day for the spicy garnet and a side of Jesus' service. It turns out he is no longer there and there is has been a huge downgrade on the service. When I walked in I was clearly being ignored which is out of the norm. The food just did not hit the same. It all starts at the door. Jesus you will be missed.

As a Japanese, this restaurant is more of a mockery than a representation of Japan. My experience at Rakkan Ramen was far from satisfactory. It's disheartening to write this, as I've had some decent meals here in the past, but the level of customer service we encountered was unacceptable. The server stated a completely butchered and horrible greeting in Japanese but it was simply racism and culture apropriation. I wish i recorded it and never in my 40 years of living in the us have i ever been bullied for my race and ethnicity. I was born in this counry and im shocked by this racism and mockery of my culture.From the moment we walked in, the servers seemed overwhelmed or perhaps just uninterested in providing a welcoming atmosphere. There was a noticeable lack of greeting, and we were left standing awkwardly at the entrance.Once seated, the downward trend continued. Our server was dismissive when we asked for recommendations, responding with a hurried and barely audible list of items. When we had questions about the menu, their impatience was palpable, making us feel as though our mere presence was an inconvenience.The lack of attention didn't end there. It seemed as though the staff had decided we were invisible, and our attempts to flag someone down were met with curt nods or, worse, complete disregard.Rakkan Ramen has been a go-to for me when craving a hearty bowl of ramen, but this experience has left a sour taste. I hope this was an off day and not a new norm, but it will be some time before I consider returning, if at all.

What's interesting about Rakkan Ramen is that their food is good and light. The noodles are tender, and the chopsticks make it a load of for dining alone or with others. The waiter by the name of Justice was on his "A" Game. He clearly explained the menu and offered to accept substitutions to accommodate dietary restrictions. He had a mannerly way about him and made sure to check on the guests. Overall, the Ramen with the miso soup was rather delicious as well as being a decent proportion. Parking is plentiful at this location, and the waiter seated each guest right away. There's very little wait time to be served, and for those reasons, here are 5 spoons for a job well done.
