The place is cozy, you feel like family. The service from the entrance was excellent. Zoey our waitress was phenomenal, so attentive and sweet. The food was excellent. The veal was amazing. Th chocolate mouse was to die for. Overall an excellent experience. From a spoiled Miami foodie, 5 stars

My husband and I joined my sister and her husband and their children for dinner Nov 10, 2025. 6 of us. I ordered Arancini that was good as well as Crocchette di Pollo that was very good--the tomato sauce was wonderful. My husband ordered the Canneloni and he thought it satisfactory. Our waitress was Ishani. She was efficient, not attentive. A gentleman, who we supposed was the owner, came to our table to suggest and explain some of the offerings. His suggestions were good. The flatbread was a hit. Because there six of us, a 20% tip was imposed on us. In addition, and this is where it gets interesting, Ishani explained that she wanted to go to law school and she would appreciate it if we would leave her extra money on top of the 20% tip to help out with said education. We were taken aback, but did not say anything. I have flown more than 2 million miles in my lifetime, so suffice it to say, I have dined out quite a bit. Not once in my entire life have I experienced anything like this. I believe going to law school is a personal choice, the cost of which is not the responsibility of dining customers. I had to work my way through school and I did not get help. I worked for every penny to pay for it. My husband came out of medical school with a ton of debt and he worked to pay every penny of his tuition. He did not receive tips for his work, nor did I. I can't believe management allows his wait staff to guilt his customers in this manner. Not acceptable behavior in my opinion nor that of my husband's. SMH

Where do I start?? The ambiance and service was top tier. Andrea, our waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and down right charming. But nothing compared to the FOOD! My goodness. The food was incredible. From the Bruschetta appetizer to my spicy scampi, to dessert of strawberry, and pistachios gelato with dark chocolate. I will definitely be back to try everything on the menu. LOL. Definitely a hidden gem. You will not be disappointed.

We've had a number of special occasions at Sugo and it is our special celebration place. We have always had such a positive experience. But...we had Katie take care of our table of 6 on Friday night and she was likely the best waitress I've ever had! Just super attentive and made us feel like we were her only customers which we were certainly not - the restaurant was packed. The food as always is genuine and saves a trip to Italy for us! Mr and Mrs C Are always so cordial walking through the dining room, greeting and making everyone special. It's consistently a magical place to celebrate!!!

This is the most excellent place to celebrate an anniversary! I dropped my parents to celebrate their 65 year Anniversary tonight and I couldn’t have been happier. They were presented an Anniversary card and free dessert which thrilled them. All wait staff came by their table throughout the evening and wished them a Happy Anniversary. The service was Excellent and the food Outstanding. Thank you Sugo for helping my folks celebrate!
