The Peri Peri Grill - John’s Creek

I entered hoping for a late lunch/early dinner, and was met with complete indifference. The employee sweeping the dining room didn't offer a greeting, and despite making eye contact multiple times, the grill cook remained absorbed in his phone. After waiting for five minutes without any acknowledgement, I left. The empty restaurant now makes perfect sense. A simple 'hello' or 'I'll be right with you' would have been sufficient. It's disheartening to see local businesses disregard customer service.

In response to the owner:
I'm guessing you were the one on your phone. You looked directly at me not once - but three times. So did the lady sweeping the floor. I'm not saying you should have rolled out the red carpet, but a simple "Hello" would have made all the difference. I can see from your response how truly awful of a business owner you are.

I ordered the Original Plate, but they told me they were out of wings and asked if I wanted a different cut. I didn’t make a selection, yet they randomly gave me something else. What I received was four tiny pieces of chicken and pathetic sides. The fries were cold, and when I tried to get some sauce, the containers were so poorly maintained that the holes were clogged.

I didn’t bother writing a long review, so I simply left a one-star rating—and this is how the restaurant responds? With sarcasm and accusations instead of addressing their poor service and food quality?

Instead of mocking customers, maybe spend that energy improving your food and operations.

Ordered half peri peri chicken which was dry and felt like we were eating rubber. They use frozen chicken for sure. Never visiting them again.

I wanted to like this place and there are definitely positives but the biggest negative is their chicken. While the flavor is good, it was so incredibly chewy. It felt like a battle trying to eat my lunch.

I ordered the lunch special chicken rice bowl. The flavor of everything was on point but the chewy chicken made it a very unsatisfying meal.

Maybe I’ll be back to try something different but it’ll take me a little time now.

The first time I tried this place it was great. But, this time I got a chicken salad bowl and I couldn’t even eat any of the chicken because it was extremely hard? I couldn’t chew it. I literally had one small piece that was fine. So, I wasted my money unfortunately.

I went to the store today but it was smelling really bad that I could not even eat there. Sadly, this restaurant used to be better. If it was smelling like this from the entrance, I cant imagine how it has to be for the employees.

Very clean and spacious atmosphere. The kitchen looks clean too. But the food was average.
We tried the quarter chicken, which was super dry and not tender at all. It came with a side of Rice, which was again super dry. The flavor for rice wasn't that good either.
Also tried their refreshers (lemonade) which came straight outta a wending machine, which tasted so 🤮

Their burgers are so good. Very well seasoned and spiced and almost addictive. Grab plenty of napkins, they usually make a mess cos of how juicy they are!
