It was our first time at Restaurant One 41 in Johns Creek. It had been recommended by a knowledgeable friend and we went with another couple who had been there in the past. We were greeted warmly at the door and immediately seated. Herbert, the head waiter, knew the other couple and chatted briefly with them but seemed to ignore me when I tried to enter the conversation. Herbert’s wife came to the table with fresh warm Italian bread and a dipping sauce made from fresh crushed pomodoro tomatoes, Italian seasonings, and goat cheese that was beyond reproach. We ordered cocktails while Jeff and Bambi sought out an appropriate bottle of wine. Their starter was a crispy aged provolone with vine ripened tomatoes sprinkled with oregano and black pepper. Arlee and I shared a plate of fried calamari and shrimp with fried onion strips and lemon rounds. This dish, served with two dipping sauces: a Calabrian aioli and the restaurant’s pomodoro sauce was tasty and the seafood crisp. We ordered our mains. Again, the waiter turned his back when I sought to ask a question and left. Our table mates had the answer to my concern. While the noise level was high, the ambiance and conviviality of this restaurant was also high. Our table was in a corner and a little more intimate as well. Bambi ordered the Lasagna which was made with a veal based meat sauce, covered with bechamel, and baked with a coating of Mozzarella and sprinkled with Parmigiano. Likewise, Jeff ordered pasta, choosing the Gnocchi made with potatoes and covered with a four-cheese Alfredo sauce and sprinkled with toasted breadcrumbs. They loved their dishes. Arlee had the Grilled Lamb Chops that were accompanied by roasted Parmigiano potatoes, and a marinade made from olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, parsley and oregano. This sauce, called Salmoriglio, comes from Sicily. I had the ‘star’ of the evening; a pan-roasted veal chop with risotto made with four cheeses in a mushroom sauce and topped with quartered porcini mushrooms. The chop was done perfectly and the risotto was “to die for.” I don’t believe that I have had better, even in Italy. As the portions were large, we declined the dessert menu and finished the meal with varied coffees. Other than the seeming lack of professionalism on the part of Herbert, the servers and other staff members all sought to satisfy our every need. This faux pas by Herbert did little to cloud what was otherwise a marvelous experience. Would we return; definitely yes. Might I ask for another waiter; possibly. However, this high-end restaurant should be experienced. It’s that good.
Dear Shawn - This is let you know that the food and quality of service is very good. Herbert needs to be educated not to beg for 20% tip. This is unprofessional and if he is not well compensated by you, it is not up to us to feed him. I don't get a tip to do my job nor does anyone except baggage handlers at the airport. If he cannot afford to work at the salary you are paying him, he should go and find another job. It is a free world. The prices in your restaurant are not exactly the cheapest for the quantity served either. Please tell Herbert to act professional or find another job. You don't have to tell me that I need to go and find another restaurant. I can and will.
Always delicious!!

food was AMAZING!! the carpaccio was the best i’ve ever had (and we’ve been to all ATL steakhouses), the sauce couldn’t be better, the flavors are there every time. they offer salt and pepper, but it’s not needed. the dessert was so great it didn’t last more than 30 seconds on the table. they also had live music and the singer was so great, we added all her music online. couldn’t have asked for a better dinner. blown away

Trattoria is my husband’s and my favorite restaurant!
We go at least every couple of weeks to enjoy their delicious dishes!
We highly recommend the carpaccio and the artichoke, which were the most delicious we’ve ever tried.
The atmosphere is wonderful, with high-quality live music, and the staff are always very friendly and attentive.
A glass of Moscato is the perfect pairing!
We always book by phone, and our table is ready when we arrive.
Tip: we love sitting at the bar, Eduardo makes it a real celebration!

Delivered by Uber. The takeout is almost as good as eating at the restaurant. Downside? I have to serve and do the dishes.

Service and atmosphere was excellent. The veal chop parmigiana was very large and tender. The seafood linguine, short ribs cannelloni and cheesecake were excellent. The bread was as good as I’ve had in 8 trips to Italy. This is undoubtedly of the finest Italian restaurants in Georgia.

Excellent and abundant food, friendly service staff and nice atmosphere. One of the best Italian restaurants in Georgia.
Our first time dining here. The ambiance and food was excellent. However, an hour prior to our reservation we were notified that we were moved from bar area which was ( requested on open table) to the main dining room. We booked the bar specifically to hear the musician. When I mentioned it to hostess on arrival- she said “We don’t see those requests on open table” to which I replied, then why use them if you don’t read the request area. She then proceeded to IGNORE ME and responded with, “Here is your table”. So rude and unprofessional esp for a better priced restaurant. Just ignore me?? Tsk tsk. And an hour before our reservation we got a 2nd call advising us to BYOB as there was an issue w the liquor license. Food and service excellent still but…
One of the best meals we have had in a long time. Wonderful ! Justin our server was fabulous. Only negative was there was a table of 10-12 men next to us that got louder and louder the more they drank....yuck.
We live out of state now, so in town to celebrate our daughter's birthday and to catchup. It was a lovely, unrushed experience. Food, as always, so delicious. Debbie was our server and she was awesome.
Excellent service and food. They handled very well a tough situation that they were presented with.
