Have dined here many many times. We absolutely love Chef Marc's food and love the staff. We recommend this establishment to all of our friends and family. It pains me to do this but the manager was not there when we left so I have no choice but to hope management can see this and address it. We came in on a Friday night and sat at the large table in the back (I believe it is called sandbar). The hostess at the door greeted us with a smile like usual. Unfortunately our server was just not up to par with the service we normally receive. Drinks were empty for quite some time and we didn't feel we got the normal care and compassion we have received during prior visits from other wait staff. We could see our server talking with other employees for a while and would go in and out of the kitchen right next to our table but, she failed to check in on us or see if we needed anything after the food arrived. Bryant (the bartender we absolutely love) was quick to recognize the issues on the table and had to go find her in the kitchen. Hopefully this was an off night but after looking at other reviews I can see the same complaints from what I think is the same server. I mean no hate by this but just hope some standards can improve. We will be back but will request a different server.

Not sure what it is about restaurants today that do not believe in customer service. We reserved a table for 5. The 5th person had to sit sideways at the end of the table. The waitress brought different drinks than what was ordered. The kitchen messed up two of the 5 orders and then messed up one of those a 2nd time. And this doesn't count that one person didn't want fries, yes that is a side item, so no one got fries. Then to top off the night, they added a large part tip of 20%. For 5 people? This is not posted on their website or on the menu, two of us looked for it. The food as good flavor and reasonable price but customer service is lacking. I don’t want to blame all the issues on the waitress as she appeared to be trying until things when down hill after the order was messed up the second time. I don’t have an issue with adding a tip for large parties but a party of 5 is not normally considered large in this area. This owner does have a pattern of weird rules, such as no one under 14 at dinner. If you have a party of 4 or less, the food is usually wonderful. Not sure we will be back anytime soon over the issues we experienced.

Really great experience today for lunch. I ordered the Chicken Tinga Burrito but I had it served in a bowl. Braised Chicken Tinga, Cheddar cheese, lettuce, Ranchero sauce, crema, rice, beans and avocado salsa. It was so delicious. Great place for lunch.

We have always enjoyed coming here because the food is really good. The restaurant was not busy, but our waitress was only interested in a couple at the bar. She never came to our table to check on anything. The expediter brought out our meals and we were on our own until it was time to pay. We were celebrating a birthday and would have loved a couple more drinks and dessert. Service ruined the night unfortunately. I was so disappointed.

The service was outstanding and the restaurant is clean and nice. However, I had the fish tacos which were not good at all. They should season the fish but my food was very bland. I ate 1/2 taco and took the rest to my grandbabies. I hope they will eat it.

Great place for an authentic California burrito. Got the carne asada and it was so good. Way too big to finish so plan on having leftovers. Got a margarita and it was so smooth. Really love this place. Only concern is with the server as she seemed to have too many tables. Ordered a margarita with salted rim and she gave me one unsalted. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying.Kid-friendliness: They do not allow kids under 14. I know a lot of people hate this, but it's nice for people without kids to be able to enjoy a restaurant without babies screaming or kids running around unsupervised.

Visited to celebrate our DIL’s birthday and was so very pleased with the overall experience. The reservation process was easy and the staff accommodated a change in our party size the day of with a simple phone call. Everything we had was delicious. We started with the Cantina Poppers which MUST be ordered - you won’t regret the advice. The guacamole was made with the freshest ingredients and even had two of our non-guac fans licking the bowl. Josh and I had the Shellfish enchiladas and what a treat they were, so full of flavor. The meal was finished with sharing the truly fabulous Tres Leches cake which is worth the visit alone. And can’t finish the review without mentioning that the bar and wait staff were very attentive. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area.Kid-friendliness: Dinner time is 14yo and up only

My family and I have dined here many times. The food is amazing and we crave it quite often. We love the owner Thomas and have had many memorable experiences dining here. Unfortunately, our server Jiz wasn't very attentive to our table. She spent a lot of time talking with one of the other workers off to the side of the dining room. We would have loved to order more drinks but never got the chance too.
