Our family was traveling south on 75 to Florida and looking for a unique place for lunch. We stumbled upon the Whistle Stop and realized it was the original Whistle Stop from the Fried Green Tomatoes movie! We took a small 10 minute detour to Juliette, GA and had lunch. We signed ourselves on the list on the porch and waited to be called. It was a Monday afternoon at 12:00, so it was about a 45 minute wait. Very good! Fried green tomatoes hit the spot. I got the fried green tomato sandwich. 10/10 my Husband got the country fried steak he said it was classic southern Cooking. The tea was perfect too!

my sister and I visited today. we drove 3.5 hours for a bucket list visit. the staff was outstanding! and the food was even better! everything came out steaming hot (literally steaming), huge portions, and delicious! Fried Green Tomatoes was a favorite movie of ours growing up. and our visit rekindled that live of the movie!
