The place has an amazing atmosphere. However there were a few things I think should be said so people are aware. If you order soda, you are brought a can of soda and a cup of ice. You pay per can no free refills on soda. Now if you get tea or water there are free refills. They did not tell us this upfront..which I think they should....so we switched from soda to tea. I ordered a country fried steak but returned it...it wasn't steak inside...it's a breaded hamburger...

What a wonderful time experiencing Whistle Stop. Took my parents who were in town for their annual fall visit. My Dad and I are big fans of the movie and this has been on my bucket list for years - only living a short drive we finally got in the car and went.

Plan to get there on the early side if you don’t like to wait; however, considering I didn’t find it to be all that bad, plus we poked around at the shop across the street while we waited.

Amazing. Had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated. The waitress was awesome. Our orders were taken immediately and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The best thing I had were the onion rings. The chopped steak and pulled pork are highly recommended. The atmosphere is just like the movie with a lot of pictures from the actors on the wall. Great prices and a nice gift shop across the street. I highly recommend stopping by here!
