First time eating at this location. The food was hot, tasty and served promptly. The facility was clean, including the restroom. Parking was plentiful. I frequently eat at their Russell Parkway location. However, I would go there again if I am in the area.
There are more Mexican restaurants per capita in Warner Robins than any other place I have experienced. But this place holds its own.

Typical tex-mex restaurant. Didn't get our food until after 30 min after we ordered. Wife's food was hot but mine was cold. Salsa is decent. Rarely got checked on. Definitely got to be a regular to get good service.

I ordered the birria dinner and the food was great. Plate was hot, chips served the moment I arrived, and waiter was very attentive to when I needed something like a refill or the check. Very good place to eat.

One of our favorite places in town. New location same name same great food as old location (which still exist under a new name on Houston. Only thing that's annoying is how crowded it can get with the parking lot being shared by Publix and others. Outside of this food is always good!

To me, it's 5 stars. It's not fancy, it's not high class, but it is seemingly quiet. I can have a peaceful meal.
The price point is good, even when they increase. The drinks are great. Have been visiting El J's for about as long as I have lived here (about 15yrs) and I can't say I have had a bad meal here. I live closest to the one Lake Joy. I have my go-to, Pechuga de Pollo, is a fave of mine if I want something simple. Usually suggest it to the picky eaters. I am a fajita lover and enjoy seeing that sizzling steaming cast iron come to my table.

Over $5 for a thing of queso cheese, I think not. Good drinks and deals. Enchiladas had no sauce, cheese enchiladas wasn’t melted, chicken enchiladas was almost dry.. I said no tomatoes and pico, I got the opposite with tomatoes and pico everywhere. Fajitas for two was filled with more peppers and onions than all the meats of course. The chicken and shrimp was the most out of that meal! Overall I’d go back for drinks
