Staff are friendly enough, but there's no Guiness. They'll put a football match on if you ask them, though it might be relayed from Saudi Arabia. Regarding hookers; they're not really on the game, but employed to get punters to drink. As long as you make it plain and clear that that getting cash out of you is like trying to bleed a frozen mammoth, you'll be OK. Do it nicely though. Brilliant afternoon on this bar with great selection of beers and spirits. Service from Simon was fantastic with jokes and laughs . Highly recommend this traditional Irish bar - just don't ask him to show the Rangers game lol
They're serving drinks only, plenty of TVs to watch and outdoor seating. Good little spot to check out if you're staying at the Gateway Inn which is about a 5-minute or less walk.
