Always fresh, generous portions and in today’s COVID-19 world we all need comfort food and to support our local hometown restaurants. Lots of sides to go with the entrees, something for everyone and you don’t have to cook! What could be better. Enjoy!!

The food is actually homemade, the atmosphere is like your at grandma's house, and the service was GREAT. Quaint little country place that I highly recommend.

Good home cooking, friendly folks, quaint old time atmosphere, plenty of good food choices, reasonable prices, and just a good feeling while you are there.
The best fruit tea and the food and service is awesome.

Today was my first visit to the Ivy Cottage. The restaurant is located in a cute, older house, with parking in the back. The regular menu had plenty of items to choose from, but we were also given two additional pages of menu items. Many of the items on the additional pages were merely repeats of what was already in the regular menu, making it somewhat confusing to figure out what to order. Although only two other customers were there when our party of three arrived, our order (two croissant sandwiches and a baked potato with salad) took about a half hour to arrive. Although both sandwiches were ordered with Swiss cheese, they were both made with American cheese instead. There was no apology for the slow service and no offer to make things right when we pointed out (upon receiving our food) that our sandwiches were not made as ordered. The sandwiches were made with cheap lunch meat and were quite small. The baked potato was also quite small. The slow service, small portions, and lack of concern for customer satisfaction all add up to one thing: I will not be returning to the Ivy Cottage, and I would not recommend it to others.
