Ordered a "double mushroom medium pizza to go" to try this local place. First, when I picked it up I was prompted by the card reader to give a tip. No, you should not ask your customers for a tip for take-out food. Second, the pizza was very clearly thrown together in haste - very few mushrooms on what was supposed to have been double mushrooms, and it was cut haphazardly into very uneven pieces as if the person who boxed it was in a great rush and couldn't be bothered to cut it properly. Third, the taste was quite disappointing - the sauce tasted like tomato paste out of a can. For this I paid over twenty dollars. I say two stars out of five - for inferior quality, inferior attention to detail, and inferior customer service asking for a tip for take-out. I forced half of it down because I hate wasting food. The other half is going in the trash.

Best pizza in town and anywhere near. Great service, everyone is super nice. You can’t go wrong with Crushed Tomato.

The most mediocre baked spaghetti I’ve ever had, when it was recommended as a popular item. There’s no way. Maybe I got it on a bad day. There was about a spoonful of sauce on it and enough cheese (barely baked at all) to make you sick. The cheese stuck to my fork the whole time and I constantly had to scrape it off with a knife. I recommend getting extra sauce so you don’t choke on the cheese and dry noodles. The bread that comes with it was about as hard as a rock and borderline burnt. I also ordered a Caesar salad. It was just lettuce with Parmesan cheese that you put on your pizza and store bought Caesar dressing and about 5 handfuls of diced tomatoes. The amount of dressing you get is comical for the size of the salad, and an extra dressing morsel runs you about $0.75. All of that plus a sweet tea ran me $25. “Enjoy” at your own risk. Unless you’re very hungry, then you can get past the very subpar food that you could find at a local high school.

My wife and I stopped in while on vacation. The pizza was quite good. The service is also excellent. The old building adds atmosphere. I would certainly return if back in the area.
