There was a few little pieces of what looked like cabbage in the stew& bbq sandwich. The onions and pickles were cold. The first food ordered both had to be sent back and corrected. A bit of a hassle to get it all right !

Ribs were CHEWY 👎🏽!!! Bbq chicken was OK. Got the platter, wasn't so great. I couldn't stomach seeing the amount of DUST above the kitchen didn't notice until I was seated & had already been served....I'd recommend to the owner to CLEAN vigorously!! We're from out of town the plethora of DUST on the ceiling & in the vents above the entrance, cashier & kitchen is EXTREMELY DISGUSTING!! Overall rating if food etc 2 stars.

Cole slaw is awful, tastes like it was just cabbage and vinegar. Brisket would have been good if it would have been hot. Server brought our food and NEVER came back.

We picked up a company lunch today. We were told our food was on the 2nd table. A waitress advised give me a minute and I will help carry it out. There were two of us so we just started loading. Got to work and didn't have either of our meats or dessert. Employees had to go back. Waitress was rude to them and told them any extra sauces would have to be paid for. Too Top it all off, the 4th person to dig into the potato salad came up with a latex glove on the spoon! Called and spoke with manager. It was all our fault. We shouldn't have loaded food, and he made the potato salad himself, NO way there was a glove int it. 6 people were standing around and saw it. No compensation was offered other than he would help us out on our next order. This after we just paid them $453.00 for lunch with tip.

When we got home, we realized that we only received one pound (we weighed it on our kitchen scale after seeing it obviously was not two pounds). When I first called to share this issue, they seemed to apologize and said they would call me back after investigating. A few minutes later, I received a call and said they were confident they put two pounds in our order and there was nothing they could do.
This error on their part was a $14 issue (cost of 1LB of pork) and the restaurant chose to lose a customer over trying to resolve the issue. I hope this gives you an indication of the type of leadership and management at this restaurant. I will not be dining here again, and I recommend you support other restaurants in the area that value you as a customer.

The barbecue at this establishment is genuinely in a class of its own. What makes it so special is their traditional method of cooking in a wood-fired oven, which imparts a wonderfully fragrant and smoky aroma that is absolutely mouth-watering. From the moment it arrives at your table, the scent alone is enough to get your appetite going.
Beyond the incredible flavor, what’s truly impressive is the exceptional quality of the food, especially considering the very reasonable prices. I was thoroughly impressed.

I was not impressed with the BBQ sandwich. The first sandwich i order barely had any meat on it although the second sandwich was perfect with plenty of BBQ. Just not a fan of the sliced barbecue. Staff was super nice and great atmosphere.

Nothing special. Typical offerings. I ordered what the call Cue Stew. Brunswick stew,topped with chopped barbecue. It was tasty. Served tepid. The banana pudding is good.

review update: After my previous review I decided to continue visiting the establishment and realized that I may have only had a 1 off, Mediocre experience and it's not the standard so I decided to give it another whirl and I'm glad I have
Chipped beef and barbecue chicken plates are my favorite and they've got much better at their service, I realize they have younger wait staff and they're not always the most professional or personable because they lack personality, in some cases, but for the majority rule, I've been having really great experiences and the quality of food has been fantastic, so I felt it was fair to update my review.
