The waitresses were nice and came often to our table. At first we were sat in the back of the restaurant which was really dark. I asked the waitress could we move and she with no problem moved into the middle of the room which was so much better. The atmosphere was nice. The building is nice but it can only probably accommodate 30 to 50 people at a time. We were served bread and butter. I think we would have enjoyed it more if the bread was warm. My food which was herb grilled chicken breast fried potato with cheese and arugula. I give it a 6 out of 10. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, but $30 was high for what I had. My husband had a steak, green beans and potatoes. He stated that his steak needed more season but it was still good. The potatoes needed to be cooked just a tad bit more and the green beans were okay. His food was $40. They only offered three desserts. We chose a lemon desert. I'm not sure of the name. It was the size of three tablespoons of pudding in a very small bowl for $13. The dessert was some sort of pudding that had a glazed top. It was for sure not worth $13, not even five. My husband said that it tasted good to him. It was just okay to me. Not to my liking. We shared a strawberry lemon martini which was perfect and suggested by the waitress. It was also $13. Our total was right at $100. I am assuming that you are paying for the location and maybe the ambiance more so than the food. The wasn't bad but very overpriced.

We were greeted and then seated immediately, since we had a reservation. This was out first time here and the quiet atmosphere was perfect for celebrating my birthday.
Our server was knowledgeable and even offered us extra bread ! I selected the Bone-in Pork Chop, mashed potatoes and green beans...All were very well prepared and tasted fantastic !
My wife chose the Chicken Pot Pie and it too was very good.
Since it was my birthday an offer was extended for a free dessert, so we both had a serving of the Chocolate Mouse... It was very good as well !
We do not live in LaGrange, but will recommend C'sons and certainly will return one day.

Lowering my review due to disappointment. This had become mine and girls favorite place but they messed up our order last time and did nothing to correct it. They were out of the avocado for pork belly and just brought it anyway. When mentioned, they explained they were out but didn’t do anything to correct it. Didn’t discount it, didn’t offer to replace it. Just accept it. That was probably my favorite dish at this place. It’s not about money, just expect consistency and to get what I pay for when I go to a place I like. When you’re paying $100 for dinner for 2 multiple times a week, you expect things to be right.
This place is great. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere. The filet was cooked perfectly. We loved the pork belly app with avocado, it was sooo good. Really enjoyed this place, one of the better dinners i've had.
Everything was perfect!!
The restaurant was so clean and organized. The staff was very professional. Good customer service! it was great talking to them. I have a amazing time. The food was phenomenal good.
Will have impeccable service. My steak and wife's lamb were cooked to perfection. We had a wonderful dining experience and will return when we travel through LaGrange in the future.

I feel badly rating the service as poor. The server was actually a lovely young man who tried hard. The issue is how darned slow everything was. We were there for close to 2 hours ... we ordered as quickly as we could. Turns out the kitchen services two restaurants and this one does not get priority. Really did enjoy the food when it came. The squash soup was great, the clams were good, the filet was excellent (although too large for me), and the rack of lamb was also excellent.
Food and service were spot on! Very disappointed that the fried green tomato salad was not available—it is life changing!!!
Last customer of the evening and the staff went out their way to make us feel special. Great food and wonderful staff!
After several excellent experiences the last two have been disappointing. Slow service. Poorly cooked and unseasoned steaks.
Very underwhelming.
For starters we waited 30 minutes for drinks, another 30 for bread and for our order to be take. Wife’s cocktail was tiny and not good for $14. I ordered the lump crab and avocado, wife had a ceaser salad as appetizers. My crab was a small golf ball sized lump of cold flavorless crab, with a sliced avocado covering it. Expected much more for $20. My wife’s salad was decent. Our entrees came out and were very good. I had the butter poached lobster and it was incredibly tender, sides were very well seasoned and cooked right just cold by time they made it. My wife’s filet was great, as were the sides… COLD sides though. All were good, just cold.
All in all I think they’re trying too hard to be fancy. It’s a nice place, and I like the small simple menu but it just wasn’t worth the $180 I spent on dinner. Won’t be back.
Extra points for the delicious cold Michelobs I guess. Waited so long I had time to drink 6 and every one was as tasty as the first one
