Gus's grill is simply the best hands down breakfast in the city! Friendly service where people remember your name and your order! Stop in and support your local business.
Can't go wrong with an omelette or any of their breakfast creations. I had two eggs over medium grits rye toast and it was fantastic!

We are staying at Great Wolf Lodge and ventured out to Gus' grill with our three young children - what an absolute treat of restaurant. The service was outstanding- included sharing toys and coloring books with us - even sharpening the broken colored pencils! Perfect family friendly atmosphere. Now the adults enjoyed every aspect too! The coffee was incredible and just what we needed to reenergize for another day! Food was delicious and portions were plentiful! While all the waitstaff seem wonderful, we were blown away by the extraordinary service by Joey! My kids asked to come back again tomorrow - easiest request to oblige.

Small little diner tucked away near the square in LaGrange. It's a very popular place, we had to wait for about 30 minutes for a table. The food was delicious, made from scratch, nothing was frozen. I will go back for breakfasts and I want to try their gyro for lunch.

My wife and I really enjoyed our food and the staff were great. I had hash browns loaded with peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese. It was definitely the best I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back.

We had very nice and fast service. Though they were very busy, the servers were calm and methodical. They kept everyone aware that were waiting for seats. Its a small space so the tables are close but you can still have a private conversation. The food was good and served hot. I had the gyro breakfast. The gyro meat was tender and well seasoned. My eggs were a bit overcooked for most but I liked them. My husband also ordered an omelet and it was cooked perfectly.
This was our first visit but we will be back soon.

We ate there based on reviews. The food was okay. It wasn’t anything I would feel the need to have again. Our server was very friendly. The building needs some TLC for sure and it’s very tiny inside.

The most delicious breakfast I have ever had. Thank you Joey for being such a great server for us Alabamians. We will definitely return each time we are in town.

Small, quaint place with great local joint atmosphere.
Only tried the Philly cheese steak. Not great (just bland), but planning on going back to try other things.
Nice staff
