It's been awhile since we been here but I can definitely tell there are new owners and the quality of the food is not as good as it use to be. Brisket was nothing but fat and the mac had no flavor at all and was mushy. Most likely won't be back. Sad it was the only good bbq in town.....

Changing my previous 1 star review from the previous ownership to a 5 star under the new ownership! We wanted to give HH another shot since it was bought by new owners. I’m amazed! It’s now back to just as good as it was when I was a teenager. The BBQ fries were amazing! The fried pickles are so much better than when we got them under previous ownership. You can tell whoever bought HH is putting care into the food and service now! We will be coming back like we used to ??
This place was AMAZING! Waitress was super sweet and the food is AWESOME! Gotta try the jumbo pork potato, fried pickles, and onion rings ! Yummm.The prices are affordable. Must try.

My wife and I went in on Friday evening about 5:30 on July 5th. Maybe ten to fifteen customers. No peanuts, out of catfish, out of Brunswick stew. Ordered pig ears appetizer and it eventually came out and skins were burned and got no appetizer plates. Told waitress and she came back with our meals, still no plates for appetizers, Then we hear the waitresses saying they were closing at seven and were not accepting any more orders!!!! On a Friday night!!!!! Very disappointed. Have frequented this restaurant for years but don’t believe I will be back. Hope the new owners can correct these problems.

We went to Hog Heaven on Tuesday evening and they were out of Brunswick stew and potato soup.Our waitress was more interested in playing on her phone and didn’t listen to what we told her about our order.We repeated it 3 times and she still got it wrong we asked for no lemon in our tea but she put it in anyway I’m highly allergic to lemons so she had to take it back and make a new cup of tea.No condiments on the table we had to get our own peanuts and sauces for our food.You can’t wait on people while playing on your phone I asked that my sandwich be heated but it was brought out cold.They we’re not friendly like they used to be.The new owner needs to get it together we won’t be going back for a while and see if it’s any better I was surprised at the lack of service we had especially since things are expensive you would like to have some attention and not have to get your own peanuts and condiments yourself I was disappointed in the service and the food this time.I’m hoping it will change ?
