We were there on NYE and it took them 2 1/2 hours to bring out our cold food. Unfortunately most of the food was inedible (too spicey, undercooked, and no meat in my seafood pasta). We watched multiple tables get up and leave due to not being served. It was a bit of a nightmare and we were disappointed. The Manager was very kind and apologetic but this was a really bad dining experience overall, we won't be back

I got the grazed ribs and let’s just say the whole thing was raw a rib is sopposed to be cooked all day and it just looked like it was cooked for five minutes I took a bite discussed and I couldn’t even cut it. I told are waiter and she just took it away no refund either.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Our server, Joel, made it even more enjoyable and accommodating to our desires. Happy we chose to spend our anniversary at Mare Sol. We look forward to returning.

A wonderful place to celebrate our families special occasions. The wait staff was excellent, paying attention to our beverage levels and checking on our individual serving needs like providing extra napkins, food toppings, and topping off our beverages. When the place is packed it does tend to be a loud atmosphere, especially if there is a football game on TV.

The best place in Lagrange Ga hands down. My wife and I have been going there for years and now that we have moved far away we make an effort to at-least come back once a year , the staff always remembers us and brings us our favorite drinks without us even having to ask . If something we love there is not on the regular menu anymore they still make it for us!!!!! We even got engaged there ! This place is a hip place with outstanding food an service that is second to none in the state if Ga !!!!

This is our go-to restaurant when in LaGrange. The food, cocktails, beer menu is extensive and of extremely high quality. The ambiance and service is always great as well. Highly recommend.

The shrimp and grits plate was bland with very little ingenuity. The shrimp looked as though it came from a frozen bag. I also asked for a side salad, which never came. I arrived an hour before closing and felt like I was being pressured the whole time I was eating to pack it up. I will not return.

The overall aesthetic of the restaurant was ok and we didn't have to wait for a table.

However, the waitress was dismissive as she literally dropped a basket with loose silverware and napkins onto our table for us to sort through, asked if we actually wanted a meal or were just getting appetizers and said she'd be right back.

When we asked what some of the favorite dishes were she blankly stated that all of them were good, shrugged her shoulders and looked at us like we had asked the stupidest question ever. She eventually told me us that she liked the salmon, but that's because her personal preference in general was fish.

We ordered spinach dip to munch on while we tried to decide what to have for a meal. The cheese on the top was so hard you needed a spoon to cut into it, as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp or left in the oven too long.

I ended up ordering a vegetable dish of sweet potatoes that were undercooked, squash that was over cooked, fried brussel sprouts, chickpeas still somewhat room temperature from the can and broccolini that ended up being mostly chopped up stems. Nothing was seasoned. Not even salted. I requested the advertised balsamic glaze and at first I was given a honey mustard dressing. I requested to send it back and was told that it was the balsamic, but eventually she begrudgingly took it back and it was replaced with a either an apple cider vinaigrette or white wine vinaigrette, as it's color and flavor wasn't even close to a balsamic vinegar. At this point, I asked for salt and pepper and tried to eat my meal.

We ordered dessert trying to wait out a horrible storm. The chocolate bread pudding was dry and tasted flat....served on an old splintery looking wooden plank with ice cream. While I'm sure that the plank was intended for have an edgy look, it reminded me of an old board from my dad's shed. I requested a bowl and was looked at like I had three heads.

This restaurant was not worth the money we spent and the staff was less than happy to wait on us.
