Always go to eat here! Best lunch spot in town!

This restaurant is in an old church building, so the acoustics aren't that great for conversation; however, the food and service were both great! We have already decided we will come back.

Food is fresh , homemade, and the staff are amazing, Mrs Lisa is an amazing cook and she does an amazing job with running the kitchen and the staff do a good job and to the waitresses they are amazing as well.

Vegetarian options: You can tell them all you want is veggies and they will make it happen

Dietary restrictions: It all depends on you and yourself know what you can have and can't have but it is good is like going to Grandma house in a sunday to eat dinner. The portions are portion out perfectly and you do not over do it and feel great after wards there is no msg in the foods to make you feel full or bloated so I highly recommend. But if you need something or can't have something just ask for lisa Michelle or Susan they will help you.

Parking: It's a tight fit. But if you want to get a good parking spot get there early

Kid-friendliness: They love kids

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is wheelchair accessible

The food was wonderful and the service was genuine. Very glad I was able to try this restaurant out. If you're in the area it is a welcome to the south style country cooking. Lots of love and thought put into each item we ate. Very affordable as well.

We ate there 5/31/2024 for lunch. It's in an old church in LaGrange. Such a wonderful sweet spirit in the place.
1.) Our wait staff lady was a white female with reddish color hair and I wish I had gotten her name because she was excellent! So pleasant, attentive and she smiled all the time.
2.) The meatloaf, and vegetables was some of the best I have ever had.
3.) One negative for me was the Peach Cobbler. Not good. Taste of the peaches was non existent, over powered by the crust which was a mushy mess. Need a new recipe for this asap.
Most all it was great and I will be back but I wish you would address the Peach Cobbler. How do you "ace" all the other Southern Food and then blow it on one of the most sought after Southern favorites like Peach Cobbler? Over all a score of A - or high B.

Taste of Lemon is a classic Southern "meat and three", operated by a couple of families. Their menu is always fresh, different everyday, and delicious. You really can't go wrong with anything you order. It's only open limited hours, so arrive early. Often times the best dishes sell out by late in the afternoon, and parking can be an issue at the peak of the lunch rush hour. Located in what used to be a turn-of-the-century church, the ambience is very family-oriented and welcoming. Whenever I have visitors from out of town, this place never fails to disappoint.

Unique, charming restaurant in La Grange. Definitely a wonderful experience with wonderful food and wonderful service. Would recommend to anyone who is in the area as it is a quaint, historic location. Delicious comfort food like someone’s grandma or mom made it, served on plates you’d eat off of at someone’s home. Will be back again.

Great service and great southern home cooking. The salad plate is really delicious and my partner consumed the hamburger steak with cream, corn and fried okra. Equally delicious.

A great place to eat in LaGrange. Try the Sherry Chicken. All 5 people in our group enjoyed their meal.
