The food was delicious as ordered, and the service was both quick and efficient. While the atmosphere felt slightly off, it wasn't overly noticeable. We enjoyed our experience at this location.
Our waitress was the black woman. She had to serve 4 booths with 2 people in them and 2 people in single chairs. Then she had to help make food, clean dishes, refill drinks, remake coffee. Doing all of this while the other two white female employees sat in the back talking and laughing. She couldn’t even serve us properly because they forced her to do ALL the work. They say racism is over but apparently at the Waffle House at New Franklin Road in LaGrange, Georgia, it’s ALIVE...
I got an omelette and that thing was HUGE! Delicious, and my kiddo loved being able to order he own food and see it be made! Wait staff was amazing. Definitely one of the best waffle houses in troup county!
