I found this little place when I was working on the 2020 census. I would almost make the 6.5 hour drive from TN just to eat lunch there.

This is the best eatery in the greater Statenville metropolitan area. The restaurant is clean and the food is tasty. One caveat: they serve a specific menu each day, with a meat and a small selection of sides. If it's your lucky day, corn casserole will be among your choices.

Interior is very nice farmhouse decor. Very clean! We had breakfast was delicious and tje price was very reasonable. Bacon a little salty for our taste but the smoked sausage is delicious!
Excellent food, just like home cooking. Everything is delicious. Much better than Cracker Barrel. Fried chicken is wonderful and all the sides we had were great.

Been here multiple times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Good local restaurant with all the basics from ham and eggs to a BLT, to meatloaf dinner. Service is always friendly and fast. Food is good and very reasonably priced.
