Must have gone thru a time warp. The menu is not what I thought it would be. Mostly Caribbean fair. Jerk Chicken and curried fair. They do offer a prime rib on Thursdays I guess. I was there Friday. I did order the Jerk chicken. It was good but I really settled since I wanted a steak. For a Friday night it was dead dead dead. Maybe livens up later in the evening. This is a different place than a few years ago is my point. The staff was nice and friendly but things seemed disconnected. Not sure who may have been running the place but many were interjecting their comments and concerns. Almost trying too hard? Likely wont go back since this is not what I want in an evening out for dinner. But maybe its not for everyone just thought you would like to know.

If i could grade it negative 5 I would. Unless you have a bunch of people with you that knows the owners, your service will absolutely not be good. I sat myself after standing for approximately 3 minutes of standing in front of a sign that clearly stated wait to be be seated. Three female employees would not acknowledge us standing there. They wouldn't make eye contact to save their lives. I would not waste my time

I had recently been visiting the area from Indiana and noticed not very many people go there and when I asked why they said the owner is very rude to his customers, then I noticed that a local person had wrote a review on Google and the owner attacked that person and said they were never allowed to come to their bar again because of the review they wrote (which really was not that bad) if people are going to be kicked out of an establishment because of a review they wrote it seems like to me there should be repercussions from yelp or Google for the business owner for doing that! I also found out this has been taken over by new owner in December so the five stars are from the previous owner!

Worst service ever! Had to keep going to the bar for beers... It took 1 1/2 hours to get food... Rude waitress... Will NEVER go back!!!

I don't know what has happened to the old rascals but since the new owners have taken over ... I couldn't believe I was In the same place that used to be such an amazing place to go. They have us food menus only to tell us they couldn't serve us food. They closed 2 hours early and ran us out bc there were literally 10 people in the bar. It was my birthday and my friends and I were having a blast just us. And we were not nicely asked to leave. We were hollered at to leave. Will Never return. Nor will my fiends.

Here with friends for the night. Read the reviews and gave it a shot. one of the best Ribeyes I've ever had! For 17.95$ and two sides you cannot go wrong here. The twice baked potatoes were amazing. We shared some appetizers and they were good too. I would recommend this place to anyone in or visiting Valdosta!!

This is our go-to every weekend. The steak and twice baked potato are both to die for! Laid back atmosphere with live music on the weekends. The kids night on Wednesdays is always a hit with our 3 year old.

Delicious food!! Had the 10 oz. Sirloin medium rare. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned excellently!! For my 2 sides I got steamed veggies and fried okra and they were excellent as well. The Texas toast was yummy too! Atmosphere is very casual and bar-like with some pool tables and a stage for live bands. I'm just passing through town so unfortunately I can't stay to see the band. However, if I'm ever passing through this area and need some grub I'll stop back by. Wait staff very nice as well!!
You can't beat the service or the prices. Hands down the best steak anywhere close to valdosta. They give you a bunch of food for the price. Atmosphere is always great. Friendly servers and staff!!!

I had my first experience at Rascals last night... I was with 3 other friends, all were out of town people, the food was great !! we had appetizers of fried pickles and onion rings and our dinner ranged from sandwiches to steak with peppers, onion and gravy...it was the best around. We came early for the music, to find out we were 3 hours early, the music started at 10pm, so we visited and met Josh, the owner, which is a very pleasant person. The music wasn't my type, but several people were dancing to it. The owner is sending us a schedule of bands coming up, so we can come back for country and oldies music. We'll be back soon.
