Wonderful selection and fast, friendly service! A Morrison's foodservice cafeteria with down home made from scratch flavor! The best restaurant in Lakeland. Wish it was open for dinner and breakfast too!

I got the 2 piece chicken plate with a drink. The food was so good. I had not been there in a while. I was so happy to visit there again. Keep up the good job and good food.

Had the club wrap and it was about average compared to others. Potato Salad had a good flavor, but very soupy. Has a nice vintage shop co-located with it.

It is part of a larger 'store', which initially drew us in. Interesting collection of second-hand items. Found the Cafe while browsing, and it looked interesting. Service was a bit slow, but the food was good when we got it. It seemed quite popular with folks I assume are local. The adjacent bakery had some French Macarons that my wife quite enjoyed. Overall a worthwhile experience.

We went to ride the Polar Express on a Sunday and overnighted at the Redlands in Downtown Palestine. Needless to say, little was open Sunday night and few things 9 A.M. Monday Morning. They were not really open for Breakfast. Especially not the Grinch pancake breakfast but they saw the disappointed kids and made us their special holiday Grinch breakfast pancakes and drink. A hard-working mom and daughter team and understanding great cooks. As for the reviews about chairs, tables and general appearance and even the street, being run down get over yourselves. This is real hometown main street trying to survive in America. Not some austere not sure what you are getting but it will have aioli (fancy Mayonnaise) and be puny serving overpriced place in Austin. Which by the way was more fun weird. Keep Palestine East Texan. Enjoy the Piney woods and the salt of the earth people. Be glad these places still exist. Don't try to put them out of business.

Love the Sunday dinner selection! Food is always home cooked and tasty! It's a tradition for us to frequent every Sunday at lunch , just try to beat the church crowd, they fill up fast!!
