Great service and atmosphere! Food was decent, lacked a little flavor for me, but would come back for another try when we're up camping on Lake Rabun! We had the chicken parm sandwich (what lacked the most flavor for me), as well as the garlic flatbread, which was delicious and would order that again easily! Nice people will always be a win in my book, so don't wait and come on in and join the wonderful place tucked into the mountains!

Google says it confirmed the restaurant's hours "5 weeks ago," but when we tried to go today were met with this (see photo). The restaurant's Facebook page says there was a "devastating fire" early on Aug. 30 and they are closed (although there is nothing about it on their website). They say they hope to reopen next year.

My grandson and I love it. We’ve eaten in and had takeout. Food was fantastic. The shrimp Alfredo excellent the marinara was super with the flat bread. Pizza is really good and the service is great. Hope it opens again soon and we were devastated when we went a day after the fire to see
Parking: You can park at the pavilion if needed but the walk from the pavilion isn’t far and it’s worth the food

Great off the beaten path pizza parlor. Handmade from the fire and it was absolutely delicious. We visited from out of town or we would be there ALL the time. 10/10 recommend!
A recent visit to Max's Lakeside provided the perfect setting for a night out with friends. The burrata was excellent, as was the service and setting. Thank you for upgrading this long-time lake eatery.

The entire staff from hostess to manager was very welcoming the atmosphere was perfect love the outdoor dining. The chicken parmesan was great so was the lemon parmesan wings. I absolutely love the staff interaction the staff was so at ease with the customers you could see they were enjoying themselves.
Parking is horrible. Food was hot and fresh and somewhat quick but void of flavor. What was flavorful wasn’t a good flavor. Service was great. I left a tip for that sole reason. We had spaghetti and meatballs, chicken wings, and Caesar salad. The best part of the meal was the garlic bread that came with the salad. When I went to leave I had to crawl through my passenger door to the drivers side because someone had parked that close. I asked the staff to contact the owner in hopes that they would move so I could leave. After about 15 minutes I contorted myself across my vehicle at 44 years old. I would say “next time” I will call the police and tell them to bring a tow truck but there won’t be a next time. This is how vehicles get tore up. The little space they do have to expand parking is being used to build a RV lean to AirBNB. Customers are purposely routed into the roadway to allow for one golf cart parking space along the route to the entrance.
