The food was excellent, 3 stars for the absolutely worst pitcher of margarita we have ever had at a mexican restaurant. 100% mix, just pure sugar. Both of us left a half glass on the table, because it was making us sick. Too bad it ruined some really great Mexican food.

Servings are huge. My wife had the Haylie’s Shrimp and I had Chilaquiles Mexicano. Servings are huge, even the plate is large. Very good and flavorful. Service was excellent and a good crowd in there on a Saturday night.

Update: been going here regularly all year, and it's still great 💜

Delicious food! Had the carne asada torta with fries (seasoned curlys), and I could only eat half. It was so good. Went yesterday and got an a la carte grilled chicken quesadilla and an order of refried beans, again could only eat half--good portions! The beans are excellent, really well seasoned with salt and spices. What a gem to have in a small town 💕

Wow, all I can say is I am pleasantly surprised! Had an errand to run and stumbled upon this place in Lavonia. Location was on the smaller side, but what the restaurant lacks in interior space is nothing compared to the big flavor and savory menu options for Mexican food. Lengua was prepared perfectly, still tender but with a bit of char for the perfect texture and flavor. If you like cactus, the nopales are perfectly seasoned and a great compliment to the amazing main courses. 100% will drive the 40 minutes to dine here again.

Ordered some wings for the family, we were just in town for the night. Friendly on the phone, friendly when I picked it up. The wings were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Chips and salsa were on point. I’d eat here again for sure!
