Great ambiance, service and food. The drinks were yummy and unique. I look forward to weather where I can enjoy the patio that opens to the downtown square. They had taco specials .The short rib was good but pricy

Finally marked this spot on my DTL bingo card and it was definitely worth it. The vibe is great and feels modern and classy. Great date night spot. The braised short rib dissolved in the mouth and had a unique flavor, the chicarron was flavorful and crispy, the sangria was refreshing, and the fresas con crema was a light but fresh ending to the night. We also had tacos, which were ok, everything else was so exceptional that is felt like the “chips and salsa” of the restaurant that you pay for. There are better and cheaper tacos elsewhere, I wouldn’t come for that. Also the flan was average, slightly overcooked and not silky smooth but I’m a flan snob so I noticed it. But everything else was so good that I’m excited to go back!

My husband's food, the enchiladas, was initially served cold, but upon complaining they brought out a fresh hot plate of food. The elote was delicious but messy. I suggest they get corn holders or corn forks to help with cutting/ease in eating. Drinks were delicious. Staff were really friendly. Space was beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful wonderful food great staff clean nice brand new place upstairs dining. It is a wonderful spot to sit. Relax and enjoy some authentic Mexican food go give it a try. You'll enjoy it. It's not your typical average. Mexican food place. It's more of an experience with the food enjoy !

What a great spot! Visit on a Friday night with some friends. Love the design of this place tucked away in downtown Lawrenceville. Lots of parking out back. Server was quick and helpful. I had the skinny margarita (two! That's how good they were) and conchinita pibil for dinner. Everything was flavorful. Be mindful that it is a small menu selection but all of my friends enjoyed what they ordered so quality over quantity. Definitely would recommend and will be returning

Awesome atmosphere, drinks are amazing, food? eh not sure what happened here. The food was incredibly overpriced for what was served. I ordered the cod expecting something extravagant for the price. Ultimately it showed up and it appeared to be a tiny pre frozen portion, boxed mashed potatoes, and baby carrots straight out of the bag. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately the food kinda lost me. I hate to be so hard on such a nice looking place but I have to recommend going anywhere else on the square. You will get good drinks, better food, and spend WAY less.

It was the soft opening so there always room for improvement but this place is pretty good. I had the Asada it was well cooked no complaints. The rice and beans was fire I highly recommended. The drinks was good I had an old fashion smoked with don and it was great. Don’t let the other review utter your judgement this place was good I’ll come back.

I’ll start by saying I’ve worked in restaurants for over 10 years & I never write reviews but this experience still bugs me.2 of us walked in on a Saturday night around 10pm. We walk upstairs & the place is basically empty to my surprise. We’re greeted by 6-7 employees just standing around - that’s how slow it was. We get sat adjacent to the bar, our female server is nice, answers all my questions, & gives us time to over our menus.Im celebrating & looking forward to my first alcohol beverage in a while. Their drink list is a bit limited but there’s a full bar. I ask the server if the bartender can make me a margarita & add some Jamaica to it. My boyfriend asks for one too. (Jamaica is a fresh juice the restaurant makes & offers) I state that I’m ok with paying for the alcoholic drink & the fresh juice. The bartender states that he wont make these drinks for us. Disappointed that he couldn’t grab some juice from the kitchen, charge me for it, add it to a margarita, & charge me for that too… I order a skinny margarita. I didn’t enjoy it.The reason this bugs me so much is because this is a brand new restaurant looking to attract & keep customers, why not accommodate a special request like this ESPECIALLY on a night when you’re slow? As a server/bartender, I’d understand if it was a slammed night & you’re too busy to accommodate a request but we were one of like 7 parties in the entire restaurant…. I was also was willing to pay the full price for what I wanted. We decided not to eat as the interaction dampened our celebration. Not being willing to add some juice to a margarita was lazy service. We then watched as the 6 employees from earlier congregated the bar in front of us & chilled with the bartenders. Needless to say, we had a poor first impression and won’t be back. (Added photos so you can see how full the restaurant was)

Atmosphere was amazing truly. Drinks also amazing. Food? Nope sorry this food was incredibly overpriced and just not that great. They are trying to get away with charging $25 for a plate with boxed mashed potatoes and tiny pre frozen cod fish. I normally don't leave bad reviews but this place absolutely disappointed me. Idk judge for yourself, but be forewarned.
